Everyone doesn't. People who are bi can and do have monogamous relationships like anyone else, and people who are straight or gay can cheat, or have open relationships.
What's important is that both partners have the same idea about how the relationship should go, whether that's a monogamous relationship or an open one. I know one couple who has a don't ask, don't tell policy - which would make me uncomfortable. But they've been together for 17 years, so it clearly works for them.

As a bi woman I find your post hateful, homophobic and incorrect. Bisexual people are not confused, they just find people of both genders attractive. Some people cheat, it has nothing to do with sexuality.0 -

Absolutely.
This is nothing to do with MSE.

See, I thought this was a community. My mistake. A community is were members can ask other member for advise on things they are struggling with.
You have actually gone out of your way and purposefully followed a link to a bisexual thread, with the predetermined mindset that you will reply to be hurtful. This is very clear. So who's the disturbed one my friend?
Could somebody please report these homophobic replies? my computer wont open Outlook so I cant do it. Put it on behalf of my username if you feel it neccesary.Only two people away from a threesome :grouphug:£2017 in 2017 = 0

When i met my OH i stressed to him that i was Bi. my ex was a total homophobe and didnt want me hanging around with my friends who happened to be gay. I was delighted therefore when my OH told me a few months later that he too was bi and I was the first person he's ever told (he has a bit of a rep for being a hellraiser when he was younger so kept it quiet for a long time). if he wants to go with guys thats fine (though he's only done it once in the 6 yrs we've been together) and if i want some lady love thats okay. it's not cheating! cheating for us would be going with members of the opposite sex. some of you might not agree with our set up, but it works for us. just because we don't conform to some idea of what a proper relationship should be doesnt make it wrong.
anyway to the OP, I would say honesty is the best policy. x0 -

Would you like it if your partner, was thinking the same? I my self can't understand why people would want both male & female, and this is my opinion, before some-one comes and slates me, and no im not a self-righteous person, i have my beliefs and thats that.
