UPDATE - Anyone else having problems with Halifax online today?

Well, this gets just worse. Just checked my account and only one transaction is now showing and I beleive looking at my balance some direct debits that should have gone today have not gone. Yesterday about 6 transacations were showing. What is going on at the halifax.
All hell with them tomorrow as it's now been the weekend since I could view transactions. I really can't beleive this and if they have missed sending a payment then I'm gunning for them. In fact I will be sending a letter of complaint to as high up as possible. Heads should roll high up in the halifax over this.0 -
I can still only see a partial statement for one account and nothing at all for another  this is ridiculous!!!0

Cant get onto online banking at all now.0

When calling up, mention that you want a Incident Form on paper filled out and passed to the command team which are based at the different telephone banking sites, this is the only way to get error's raised to a higher level the more reported the more it will be investigated. Can I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0

Now there's a first:-Bank_of_Scotland_Online wrote:Internet Banking isn't available at the moment
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we're doing essential maintenance on the site. Please try again later.
Can't remember the last time my internet banking was completely unavailable. Perhaps they've pulled the front-end system to sort out all of the issues caused by migration?
My personal experience of migration has been pretty smooth. Aside from some transactional information missing and my credit card not displaying correctly until today, everything else has been fine.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0 -

Mmm - did they actually test any of this change as something like this should have stood out. If it was my project I would be hanging my head in shame. Best watch out for any cv's coming our way from the halifax:j
And you can bet your last £ that it WILL be a Halifax/BoS CV. The arrogant imbeciles at Lloyds have made all the decisions about adopting the "defender" systems - that is to say to take their antiquated systems and enforce them upon HBOS customers removing key functionality along the way. One thing is sure though - whilst Lloyds bods made the decisions the sackings will be of HBOS staff.
Both HBOS staff and customers are treated with utter contempt and, in some cases, absolute hatred by the Lloyds staff. Nothing good will ever come of this "merger". I hope Gordon Brown et all rot in hell for their part in the misery this has inflicted upon thousands of staff and customers0 -
my accounts are working fine, I can see all historic transactions, make transfers etc.
And my credit card works again (aside from it being called INTRODUCTORY STANDARD MASTERCARD).
looks like they are almost fixed?

Statement information is back for all accounts. Filters at the bottom imply you can go back to 2002, but didn't return anything for me that old.
Account opening after you've logged in appears to be available for all savings accounts now.
Still missing the facility to transfer to my ISA online though. Not a problem for me as I topped up in April, but would irritate me if I had to ring up or visit branch to do it.
Still, progress being made.
From what I can see, the 27,000 jobs that have gone have been shared across HBOS and Lloyds TSB. I'd expect there to have been more HBOS job losses though - afterall, it was Bank of Scotland Corporate that destroyed HBOS so there were little benefits to pursuing more of the business that they were very good at getting. One thing is sure though - whilst Lloyds bods made the decisions the sackings will be of HBOS staff.
While I wouldn't use such extreme words, I am aware of an arrogance that immediately followed the merger. That said, I have just completed a 9 month contract at LBG and have seen a commitment improving things from a Halifax / BoS side. A simple example is interest rates on savings accounts being shown online. This was removed because Lloyds TSB systems couldn't cope. Then the complaints rightly came in. Now rates can be seen by Halifax, BoS and Lloyds TSB customers. Both HBOS staff and customers are treated with utter contempt and, in some cases, absolute hatred by the Lloyds staff.
Of course one option available was to close the whole of HBOS down. It was, to all ends and purposes, bust. From a longer previous career with Halifax I know how good a lot of the staff are and how enjoyable working with customers can be. I understand how most "improvements" made things better for staff and customers, so the last couple of days on top of the last couple of years will have been painful for all. While I would have preferred a solution that preserved HBOS retail bank as an independent entitity, that would have left the nation in a far bigger hole than it currently sits in because nobody would have bought the assets of Bank of Scotland Corporate on their own.Nothing good will ever come of this "merger". I hope Gordon Brown et all rot in hell for their part in the misery this has inflicted upon thousands of staff and customers0 -
My credit card has now reappared and all is correct, apart from being called an Introductory Standard Mastercard.
All my historic transactions are also back on the bank/savings accounts.
In the words of British Rail, "we're getting there".0 -
Lucky you! Because Halifax messed up and gave me access to strangers' bank accounts, my online login is still disabled - and may be for several days yet. Grrrrrr.
I have seen two other reports of this on the internet this week - so make sure you all check your Halifax Personal and BOS Private accounts to see if someone else has had access (they could, for example, have transferred your money into their own account, or changed/deleted your DD's and SO's).0
