Do you seriously think that people registered with the TPS care whether you're selling OR doing 'market research' ?

They register because they don't want to be harassed by strangers in their own home, they're not interested in your pathetic technicalities.

Only today did I recieve a missed call from 08452788000. Someone left a message saying "please ring back on this number, there is some excellent news for you, news that will change your life forever".......yea right!

The number 0845 278 8000 is the National Lottery Helpline, so why would they be calling???

i kept missing calls from a withheld number, and caught one this evening- got a recorded message, did not mention any compnay name, going on about recent court case and how i could learn more about getting debts written off etc.just need to press 5, or 9 for a human.. I have several issues- why they are calling, uninvited, so late.how they got my number (home tel only known to 2 or 3 trusted people, and BT..)how they are allowed to make sales calls, even if recorded, from withheld numbers..do they really expect me to start pressing buttons, and maybe allowing them access to my ac in some way (paranoid i guess..)without the callers number, i am not sure how to take this further. have re registered with TPS, and sent a snotty email to BT.what really pees me off is they want to charge you NOT to receive calls.. so they may money, either way!

despite asking not be be called and to be removed from their lists have had 2 more calls today which I have just answered on speaker and let them waste their time
