hi - i need a bit of a push to loose the weight before the wedding (either 21 or 28th november 09), im aiming to loose 30lbs before the big day. im a size 16 at the moment, and if by some miracle i do manage to loose it, i still wont be any smaller than a 14 because i have huge boobs and stupidly wide hips, but i know that i will be healthier, and my body in better condition. also we are trying for a baby, so getting healthier and thus loosing weight is always a good idea0

Chardonnay - where are you getting your kilts from? My OH wants to wear his Buchanan but we haven't started looking yet - doesn't help we're in England!0

Can I show off please. I have been dieting since Feb partly for my wedding & partly cos I am hugely overweight, weighed myself this morning & the latest grand total is 49lbs or 3& a half stone!!! I was a dress size 28 to give you an idea how huge I was now I'm verging on a 24 so still huge but not AS huge iyswim. I think I'm gonna crack 4 stone by my wedding. Sorry to boast but I am so pleased with myself. I have terrible problems around food, so girls if I can do it anyone can.
I am off out in a mo to treat myself to some wedding makeup or perfume with the £40 boots points I've been saving.Booo!!!0 -
Violetta, thats not showing off - thats FABULOUS!!! And Inspirational!!

keep trying to think of a reward I'd like if I hit a goal .... nowt comes to mind but food and thats sooooo wrong :rotfl:"I know that Prince Charming doesn’t come save me, we save each other and fight back to back against all comers that’s what marriage is to me. Hi guys can i butt in.... ha
I'm not really too overweight but im desperate to lose the flabby thighs. The top half of my body is a size 10/12 and the bottom is 12/14.. i have what i call child-bearing hips! So im trying to lose my big bum and flabby thighs. I reckon i could lose about a stone and still look nice and curvy but just firmed up
Anway i wanted to a running plan ive just started. Apparently running is the best way to burn fat. So here it is...
http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/healthyliving/running.htm
I started 4 weeks ago and as i had to do week 1 twice cos i found it so hard, im half way through week 3. Im the most unfittest person ever... never ever run... anywhere! but im really starting to enjoy it now and i swear it does get easier!!
Other than that, ive got a davina mcall workout dvd... my bum is in so much pain today, im finding it hard to stand up lol. i used to love davina but im begininng to hate her! lol
Also, does anyone know of any online clubs i can join for free for dieting? I've just been made redundant and cant afford to join any that you have to pay for. Just need some yummy meal plans really
Thanks!!What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -

Still feel rubbish but tried to direct me cravings. Honey sandwiches :rotfl: on tha basis it'll be good for my throat and has antiseptic properties - it's still sweet and makes my sweet tooth happy
To be fair it seems to be doing more than the daynurse style stuff
Did look in the mirror this morn and wondered if I'd lost a bit - I just cant face the scales this week though.
my big sis never eats when she's ill, had a flu / tummy bug last year and lost almost a stone!!! not healthy though, very not healthy"I know that Prince Charming doesn’t come save me, we save each other and fight back to back against all comers that’s what marriage is to me. takes your weight / height / sex / age works out the calories you can eat then gives you a database of foods so you search for it and tick the box that says you ate it today and it adds it up for you
A lot of it is american but there's loads of uk people now. So like you can search for ASDA good for you cheesecake or something that specific and you're likely to find it. Or just 'cheesecake' / ASDA cheesecake and filter by brand. (drop down box to filter - sooo easy)
Also if you do exercise it works out the calories for the length of time you did the exersize for and then adds the calories you burn to the total for the day so you have more allowance of calories. Exercises are all listed too so you just search say I did this today and put down how long for
even has a little graph chart system so you can track your weight, support forums (Although we are better
)
It's like e-diets or tesco diets but freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Okay I wont mention it again - honest.:rotfl: I just luuuuv them
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I guess you're bound to be this "all for them" if it's worked for you
I lost 17kg with them last year
I've put back on 7kg from not doing it as religiously as I used to though

arr brilliant thank you ive joined.
The excercise thing is strange though... i cant really put eating, half an hour, and count the calories burned from that can i? I'd have to account for every single minute of the day if i did that and wouldnt actually have time to do anything else! i think ill just keep track of my 'extra' excercises, like running or aerobics etc. is that what u do?What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
ahh i was so bad yesterday, went out for dinner with the folks and after 3 glasses of wine (bad) i thought cheesecake was a good idea (very bad)
