It is comforting to know that I am not the only one flat on my face in a cloud of dust as the wagon charges off down the road!!
It is so much easier to get fat when the people around you are eating the same. Its just not socially acceptable to say 'oi fatty stop feeding your face!' lol
I have had an okay day - water and fruit has passed my lips - but if I make it to midnight without ingesting an A4 sized bar of chocolate my name will definitely be Cinderella!!I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

Taadaa - i know what you mean when you say how easy it is to eat the same as everyone else.
I was like this especially with my h2b - I was having the same size portion if not bigger than him most days, then sit down to larger, peanuts, pringles etc...just because he could eat them and not gain an ounce!!
I've had quite a good day, went on another dress hunt yesterday and fell in love with a Ronald Joyce dress, but my hips looked huge in it, but I love the dress, so decided to give myself 4 weeks then go back and try it.
So far today i've had - 30g porridge made with water and a splash of skimmed milk, 2 poached eggs on 2 x crust away bread slices, then had jacket spud, paprika chicken breast and veg for my tea.
I've also done 45 mins on my X Trainer, using my New slendertone belt h2b bought me from the auction (new) for £4!! Was really good!!
Now sat drinking lots of water trying to keep my fingers busy so they dont steal any of the nandos chicken crisps h2b is gobbling!0 -
Got on the scales and have put 4lb on over two weeks. I knew I wouldn't like what I saw but felt that I had to face up to it instead of running away and eating more chocolate :rotfl:
So that is half of what I lost and I am very disappointed with myself. But onwards and upwards. Had one weetabix with skimmed milk and a handful of raisins. Got a day off work today so this is a good time to fit a bit more exercise in. We have a DVD rental thingy and I have got Claire from Steps 5 fat attack (or something like that) thank you ladies, you have to realise yourself what you need to do but it helps when other people have the same issues and can empathise and motivate you :TI have had many Light Bulb Moments. Grr i've had an awful weekend. Had a takeaway chinese on Friday, complete with the biggest bag of prawn crackers!
Then on sat went to visit the parents, they took us out for a curry, I refused a starter and watched while everyone else ate greasy samosas and bhajis etc... like thats gonna make much of a difference.
They mum presented me with a box of cornish fudge and shortbread as they've just got back off their hols down there. So HAD to have a huge handful on saturday and again yesterday...
On the plus side, i did go for a run last night and just did half an hour of interval strengh training that i know my abs are going to kill me for tomorrow!
So not all bad...
I'm hoping this week is going to be better. I'm going to the supermarket in a minute to stock up on low fat goodies! What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
Congrats on the weight losses all!!
Walked the 3 mile round trip to school and back today, went with my friend to take her dog for a walk and a gossip (11,600 steps so far woohoo!!!) and have done 30 mins on the x - trainer plus had my slendertone belt on for 30mins!!
Full of motivation today - lets hope it continues tmrw.0 -

Well done everyone!!! It sounds like we're all getting well into the swing of things!!!
I had a really grotty week. Diet was going ok (a few minor slip ups but I didnt think it was too horrendous) and did some excercise too - yet managed to put on 3 pounds!!!!!! I was heading straight for the biscuit tin to console myself when I realised it would only do more harm than good.
Hopefully this week will be a better week for me.....and if its not, well the OH's weighing scales are being thrown out of the bathroom window.....they must be lying after all

first day back on daily plate yesterday
:j had a good day!
Then proceeded to make flap jacks, lemon curd and jam tarts!!!
BUT me flapjacks come out to 135cals.
and the jam tarts to only 80 each. Now must try not to eat them all at once
Wii Fit says I lost half a pound
which is nice.
I did half hour on that and walked them puppies
A good start - I must be feeling a bit better
