Still managed 3 of my 4 crosstrainer sessions today even though I have a bit of a stomach ache, and I didnt eat any chocolate, still want to though.
Went onto the daily plate site and worked out my cal intake for weight loss of 3 stones over 3 months is just over 900 a day.It wouldnt let me work out any more than 4lb loss a week, when I put in more it said I was to go and see my doctor.

The automatic selector has options for maintain weight, weight gain then weight loss up to 2lbs,at the bottom it has "other",if you click on that it lets you put in a slightly higher figure(I guess only if your height and weight allow for that amount of weight loss).

Haven't looked at the site but it sounds dangerous. Your body needs 1200 cals every day just to function. If you go down to something like 900 you'll be putting your body into starvation mode and your body will be lacking things it needs. Dorctors recommend a steady loss of 1 - 2lb a week maximum.

  • depends on your age and height and stuff on how many calories you need.
A friend of mine is a rather short lady and in her sixties, it came up with 1006 cals per day for her stature and age for 2lbs a week.

Dailyplate doesnt let you try to drop more than 2lb's a week. Not surprised it told you to go see the quack thats a bit fast hun :)

one of the lads I know has dropped 13lbs in ONE WEEK!!
    Jeezus thats unhealthy!

I'll stick with trying to drop 2 :) adds up faster than you think and some weeks extra falls off even when you didnt mean it to ;)

Ohh and remember if you do extra exercise and eat less than your recommended calorific intake you can put ON weight as your bod goes into starvation mode.

    How are we doing ladies?

Personally, having a bad day. Again. I can make a permanent change, I just need to remember that I'm worth it. I have decided the key to my success is planning.Boring as hell, but if I have a think about what I will eat in the morning before anything has gone anywhere near my mouth, I have got a fighting chance.

Yup a bad day here too. Had steak and chips in a bagette with salad at lunch in Marks and Spencers. :( Sinned some of it but still over. New day ... new start tomorrow.

Don't even get me started! Mum and I went to view a venue and after a bit of shopping locally we had a bag of chips each for lunch

come on girls! this is the first time i have managed to stay on the wagon in ages!!!

i had a bad-ish weekend - I was eating at someone elses house sohad little choice - the portion size was small but unfortunatly had loas of cream and bacon in it- the result 36 points in 1 day

However I only have 6 points to make back before weigh in - i'm trying to convince myself to go to the gym this evening

Draw a line under the weekend now, we'll all get there!
    Had a thrifty wedding 17-06-10:love:

  • I have had a bad weekend too so far.Kept exercising but I had custard donuts(3) over Friday and saturday and a big pancake and butter Saturday too(proper butter):o.
I managed to avoid chocolate which is usually my biggest stumbling block but totally gave in to my sweet tooth anyway.I have put 1" back on my waist over the 2 days as a result.
Back on the wagon for the remainder of the weekend.
A great thing is that I have been exercising and dieting for a week or just over now(apart from the sweet bakery stuff)and yesterday our visitors noticed I had lost a little weight:T

    Hi guys

I have just found your thread and just rejoined weightwatchers in order to lose weight for my wedding in 12 months time. I have around 5 stone to lose but t is how I look and feel rather than the numbers hich matters to me-I really want a size 12 wedding dress. I was a size 10-12 when I met OH but piled weight on when we moved in together and following the death of my brother in law.

SO I will be going for my "first" weigh-in on Tuesday, which should hopefully also be the day we book our wedding with the registrar! :T

    Good luck everyone xxx
