Only just seen your post - a friend of mine joined tesco diets beginning of last year and she has lost over 5 stone on it, she's a fantastic size 10 now!! her hubby no longer looks 9 month pregnant either!!(her words lol)0 -
Oh this is a thread I so need to subscribe to!!!!
I woke up 2 weeks ago and looked at my feet.......they where fat!!! It was at that point I stood on the scales and realised I was 3 stone heavier than I was when I was 9 months pregnant with my youngest daughter.....Im getting married next August and at that rate would have been "waddling" down the ailse!!
Normally, Im amazing at crash diets, however, this time I have decided to do it properly, just by making a few simple changes in my life I have lost a stone in a fortnight! Im sooo proud of myself, my feet are looking slimmer (as is the rest of me but seriously, my feet were the wake up call I needed!!) and I have now so much more energy!
I'd still like to shift another 5 stone before my wedding day but right now Im just happy to be losing, so Im holding back on buying my wedding dress right now!
Good luck to each and everyone of you who are currently trying to lose weight, this thread is a fab idea!!! :TNEVER look down at somebody....unless you are helping them up.0 -

Well done!!
Funny you should mention about feet as my feet have shrunk a size since I lost weight, I have gone from a 7 to a 6, I just need to lose the extra weight to get back to the size 5 they were pre children lol. I never knew your feet got "fat" - until I mentioned it to the ww leader:rotfl:0 -
wow well done donna thats ace.
so.....lets talk rewards - not very mse but my fave topic. To entice me along I am going to give myself the following rewards:
1 stone loss - new heart rate monitor battery and book recommended n runners world- £35
2 stones loss - £70 worth sky lanterns for the wedding day - not in the budget but i want!!
3 stones loss - massage on day before wedding and hair done at hairdresser on day of wedding (no idea how much that will cost - was gonna do m own hair)
I'm already looking forward to my pressies!!! All this is stuff I want but can't justify cost right now- if they help spur me along then I can justify it!!Had a thrifty wedding 17-06-10

Well done and keep it up Donna8721,dont lose that will power now.Apparantly 2 weeks is the magic point where new behaviour becomes a habit,so keeping up a diet or exercise plan for 2 weeks and managing to get that far means it is easier to keep going.
I tried to diet, first time ever,a couple of months ago and was doing great for 12 days.I lost nearly a stone just through calorie counting and some step machine exercise.I didnt make it to the 2 week point though before I cracked and gave up.Put the stone back on plus some already.
I have just started again,3 days in,feeling a great energy boost by exercising and cutting cals and loving it.I know I have to really push myself this time to get past that magic 2 week point.I must look good in that wedding dress.I am doing a few sessions on my new cross trainer every day and love using it,infact tonight I had to force myself to rest for 1/2 hour after a tiny dinner before I could do another session.Looking forward to seeing some changes in my measurements soon."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0
