99% of Approved Foods items are available in cheap shops and home bargains. A lot of the items are cheap and fattening with not very nice ingredients. Manufacturers want to get rid of these items which haven't sold for one reason or another.Cant understand why anybody would pay for delivery of these inferior products.OK one or two items might be passable but most can be bought individually from cheap shops.
I think its a question of deciding when to place an order for best value for the postage.0 -
Yes I agree with you Mcallister. I think the same.
The 99p tins of Red Salmon were a bargain yesterday but were OOS when I looked again this morning.

I got an order this morning. Very quick as I only ordered on Monday - loving the new delivery system.
I was prompted to order because of the case of Falafel mix, so ordered 2 - unfortunately they were the only things that weren't in the box (replaced with 24 bags of peanuts - not so great for the diet). Haven't tried them yet but the 5 massive bags of tortillas for 99p look like an amazing bargain!DFW Nerd 941 Proud to be dealing with my debt

I've just ordered a bunch of Body For Life stuff (metaboliser capsules and whey protein). It's actually the stuff I use for my diet anyway (see signature!) so I'm chuffed to pieces

 just got home from a trip out - parcel delivery note left poked in the front door frame at 2.30 ( hey burglars we're out...) There was no parcel tracking email or etc - is this some new system that doesn't do that anymore? The previous parcels have been with our DHL driver who is here every week and leaves next door's parcels with me & vice versa, we're miles from anywhere else.
I also ordered falafel and won't be getting it, weirdly although I ticked several alternatives to put in instead of anything out of stock I'm getting a refund. Wastes the postage a bit but nevermind.0 -
v v annoyed, delivery man knocked once and by the time i got to the door had placed a card between the frame and the door (i live on a main road so had i not been in they might as well said this housee has no-one in!! have perfectly good postbox at rear), and my neighbour always take in items they never even bothered and gave me less than 2 mins to answer so now have to pick up from depot... which they say cant ring them to do this for at least 1 working day. good job nothing in the parcel is perrishable... not happy
My card says they will automatically redeliver tomorrow between dawn & midnight or somesuch, I can't get to a parcel depot from here and if I could I couldn't lift a 25kg box out of a car, so they better do
