I got 4 bottles of the olive oil this week too. Mine is also Netto though I'd never have seen through the black pen without prompting. I took a swig of it, and there is a slight bitter after taste. Then I tried all the other olive oils we have on the go at home, and it tastes the same as Napolina special selection best before date April 2011. The google review was dated 2006 I think, I expect the vintage changes year by year?? The Napolina is near the end of the bottle and we hadn't noticed anything bitter. But we don't dip, it's for cooking or salad dressing mixes. Cheap enough to fry onions in.0

The olive oil is perfectly OK for cooking, but with a quoted RRP of £4.99 I was expecting something different.0

v v annoyed, delivery man knocked once and by the time i got to the door had placed a card between the frame and the door (i live on a main road so had i not been in they might as well said this housee has no-one in!! have perfectly good postbox at rear), and my neighbour always take in items they never even bothered and gave me less than 2 mins to answer so now have to pick up from depot... which they say cant ring them to do this for at least 1 working day. good job nothing in the parcel is perrishable... not happy0

Same about your delivery ladybabe - ours have always been very good.
Anyone else got the coscous pots? Using mine for lunch at work - just add hot water. Saving me £3 a day on buying a sarnie or being late trying to make my own - just grab off the shelf and go. Cashews great value too - I got 12 small packets - another addition to my lunches at work.
Anyone slightly confused by the categories on the site - 'lunch-box' did not have much in it, but lots of the things in the 'snacks' and 'drinks' would have been perfect for lunchboxes???
Not quick enough to get the 'sticky rice' either. Next time0 -
I'm happy with the olive oil that I've received and find the taste excellent but it was also surprised that it was the Aldi one, as I know for a fact that it doesn't retail at £4.99.
I'm perfectly happy though because its an absolutely bargain at 99p and tasty enough for all my culinary uses.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £58.95/ £250

Went to the DHL depot today (10 miles away!) to pick up my box and was pleased. I was confused by the Amazing Grains packs though (4 different varieties). The description said 'Amazing Grains xx flavour (4 packs)' 1 for something like 29p or 4 for 99p. I ordered 4 for 99p, expecting to get 4 4-packs, for 3 of the flavours and 6 for £1.49 for the last flavour. The 4-pack in the description should really have said 1 pack (4 servings). So I got 4 packs in total not 16. I think they are out of stock now but just in case they come back in stock. The description was like this for all 4 flavours of Amazing Grains. So 4-pack is really 1-pack! Hope this makes sense0

Thanks for pointing that out CougarJo. It did seem a bit confusing as I would have thought exactly the same as you.
There's a couple of things that have been on there where the description seems to contradict the title when it comes to quantity.
I'd thought of emailing an enquiry but they seem so busy you don't want to glog up their system with more emails.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £58.95/ £250

Yeah, I would have ordered more of them if I'd have known that I wasn't getting as many as I thought!! They are now out of stock! {sigh}. I know Andrea from Approved Foods looks on here from time to time. Hopefully she'll see these comments. Getting 4 times fewer items than you think is quite a big difference! The order was for me, my sis and my mum to share. So a total of 18 boxes rather than 4 times that is quite a difference. Some flavours we had 1 box each and one left over, lol.0

I read the description of these in exactly the same way, and having told my skint daughter she could expect them, ended up with none for us.0

I placed a coulple of orders with them months ago, and both orders arrived damaged/drenched in juice, so I gave up. Very disappointing0
