Just caught up on this thread and would just like to say well done on getting through this nightmare situation. We had a couple of purchases fall through - 1 chain collapse and the vendor pulled out of our 2nd purchase, but just before exchange!!! We then found this place and we both agree that despite the nightmare of things going wrong, this house is far better than either of the other 2. Looking forward to your 'we've completed' thread!0

I'm a long term follower of the thread, just back from our hols. Amazed and delighted at the best of outcomes for you Welshwoofs and the money already in the bank too.
PURE KARMA to end the saga.
Just feel sorry for any future poor souls who have the misfortune to come into property dealings with these vendors.0 -
Congratulations WW, although the stress you could have done without. Good luck with your new home, fate has certainly turned up the trump card with the new house........as for your woes and hassle with the vendors of your previo us house purchase I only hope they learnt a big lesson......but i think after what went on they are the types never to learn......mummy and daddy may have to wade in once more........on a finer note , exchange contracts needs tightening up to stop this sort of thing happening.........All the best for the move WW0

Next update....completion on the new place
Got me thinking, if they didn't sell the house, I wonder where they got the money from to pay you so quickly, the plot thickens.....

Maybe you should pass this story to the media, so that some other delusional possible vendors learn and don't even think of behaving like this!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

The second batch of solicitors they had seemed far better...and far more aware of the situation they were in0
