WW tells us that these t*ssers have been reduced to a smaller car - ""so perhaps they've had to 'downsize' a little""

its about time they learned to live within their budget !!!!

Haven't posted before on this, but I have read it and been gobsmacked by these people!

Many congrats on getting it sorted as the stress must have been horrendous.

    Well another update....

Today our solicitors exchanged and completed on the new property! We were able to push it all through on the same day as the property is vacant and we're not selling either so no reason for a delay between the two.

So now the fun begins....we're not moving in for a few months as it needs rewiring, some roof repairs, some central heating upgrades, new kitchen/bathroom, windows/doors etc etc.

The previous vendors haven't put their property back up on the market yet...lord knows what their game plan is now. I'm guessing mummy and daddy bailed them out in the long run, although I have heard that one of the nice new cars has been replaced by a second hand run-around so perhaps they've had to 'downsize' a little!
WW "now the fun begins" after the rigmarole of the last "sale" your family can enjoy this creation of your new home,:D.
    When`s the bring a brush/housewarming party begin?;):D

  • Fantastic news. Thanks for the update and look forward to hearing all about your new home.

That's on top of the deposit. The deposit was held with their solicitor throughout the process so was simply returned. Deposit was £25k

Re another post. I will indeed post the refurb! We're picking up the keys next week (can't get there before then) and will take some 'before' photos. Whilst I'm in town I'll also sneak a photo of their place so let you all have a peek ;)

Personally, if I was in your shoes I would not. They have given you a lot of grief, but eventually the problem was resolved to your satisfaction. I think that they have a right to their privacy.

I agree. But if the house comes back on the market, I think Welshwoofs can decide to breach her own privacy with a link to the house she nearly bought, so we can compare with what she did get.
