What excellent news to come home to! I'm so glad to hear you've got a solution.

The link with the new house is so cool, I'm really excited for you.

May the refurb be stress free and may you bump into them in the village pub while celebrating your move. :)

Look forward to a new thread with your refurb, else what will I read?
Do you need it? Yep. Really? Yes! How have you managed for the last 28 years without it? Erm....

To think I didn't bother to click in this thread until now, as I thought it was just another round of "any update?" posts.

    Well done!

£30k - thats some chunk of inheritance blown away. I can't believe they've done this without having another offer on the table.

Well congrats WelshWoofs, glad it all worked out in the end, and you didn't have to go to court. Wish you well in your new home!
For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.
  • Congratulations WW, so pleased for you that it will all work out. Brilliant that the second house is better than the first one! I'm looking forward to following your refurb thread too!!!

I too have been reading this thread from the very beginning with interest. It is so lovely to see things have sorted themselves (albeit with a lot of stress along the way) and that you are now looking forward to moving into a more karma house than originally intended.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
