In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Some people would have never read it if it hadn't been bumped to the front page so often, so it works both ways.
It also shows we're all still supporting WW in this quest for justice against idiot sellers who don't understand the implications of a legally binding contract.
Hope it's all still going well for you WW!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
It also ensures if the vendor comes looking they will find the information too, along with pretty much everyone saying they are in the wrong and can get seriously hammered financially.0

I have to disagree - we're all keen to support WW and find out any news but fully support the fact she needs to keep quiet about whats occuring in her own interest. I hope she's still reading the thread and getting support from the fact some many people are on her side and wanting things to work out well for her.
Also by bumping the thread it lets new users catch up. As someone who had never even heard of this situation happening and being horrified how powerless it seems to have left WW the more people aware the better.Looking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

And also.... I am very new here, and that, therefore, accounts for the fact that I am a very sad individual (well... leave me my delusions at least), but Welshwoofs takes the trouble (from what I've seen, and I'm not quite so sad that I've undertaken an empirical study) to thank most people who post offering support. To my mind, that would either suggest that she is grateful to know that there are so many of us out there rooting for her and Mr WW, or that maybe she's playing a deeper game, where she wants as many posts as poss, so that *anyone* searching for - say - "I've exchanged contracts on my house but now want to pull out" manages to get this as a high result on a google search. Since just about everyone posting on this thread wishes her and Mr WW the very best, and hopes the numpties trying it on get their comeuppance, if she's playing the deeper game, wa-hay, the more we can support her, the better I say.0

Sorry to bump thread again, but as you are new,
did you know that if
you scroll up to the green tool bar, you will see Thread Tools,
if you click on there, you get a pull down box with
"subscribe to this thread" you can then get daily emails sent either instantly, or daily. Saves having to bump again.
Hope this helps somebody, and if not sorry to have bumped this again.0 -
Just wanted to wish you luck and hope this gets sorted out soon."This site is addictive!"

you really need to get out more.........as people have said many, many times it's not about adding to the thread, more like making people aware that it's there.
And if you want to be really pedantic.......you ain't adding much either!!!0 -
