Vendors pull out AFTER exchange of contract

Well this week has been a bit of a boring week on the house saga.
Surveyors reports came in towards the end of this week and during the next week the lawyers will be preparing their next communication to the vendors' solicitors.
We're following a bit of a 'grand plan' at the moment but unfortunately I can't talk about it at the moment! However I hope to be posting the conclusion to this drama before Sept is out.
It's now a little over a month since we should have moved in - I've even unpacked quite a lot of stuff. What makes me laugh is that now the agents aren't acting for these people, they're quite happy to tell us what a pain in the !!!! they were from the beginning!“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

Did they pay the agents in the end or are the agents still chasing them for their money?
Sorry if this has already been asked and answered. My memory isn't what it was and this has been quite a saga
btw, good luck Welshwoofs.0 -

Once it's all been sorted out and you're living in your house, you'll need to tell us what the agents have been saying!0 -
