    Hi

I have read your post and really feel for you. I am kind of similar to you that I have gambled. However my heavy period of gambling was some time ago.

I look forward to see how you got on and really hope it went well for you.

    Hello all

Just got back from the OR. Was a total of 90 minutes so nothing to bad. Went through EVERYTHING but the lady wasn't judgemental or mean. At the end she basically said the reason I was called in was due to the high chance I will be getting a BRO. She did say any other questions would be dealt with on the phone or email so I don't think I will be going again thank goodness! All that worry for nothing really. When she listed my betting amounts I was just ashamed, it all came flooding back and I am feeling pretty rubbish at the moment.

Thank you all for the best wishes, you are all stars

Well done Amiga. I am following your story with great interest as I lost alot on gambling too.

I hope yo udont mind me asking but can I ask a couple of things:-

    1) What did she say you will hear next?
    2) When you went BKO had you been gambling in the build up to you BKO?

On a general note to all is it me or is it slightly unfair that with gambling you can get a BRO but for someone who spent money on hols, clothes etc they dont. Can you ever challenge a BRO?

    Good Luck Amiga.

Hi Amiga, Trolleys OH here, came on here to see if any news from you as have been thinking about you today and your OR interview. Glad to hear it went well and was not as bad as you were expecting. I know the betting amounts probably looked bad on paper but thats now a thing of the past for you and you can move forward to a debt free life.
Dont feel rubbish we`ve all been there and explaining why you`ve got yourself into a financial mess to a complete stranger is probably the worst part of it.
In time you will realise you have done the best thing for yourself....well done!
Dont be too hard on yourself :)

    Good Luck Amiga.

    I don't mind at all!

The lady said the report gets sent to the OR and in the next 2 weeks I will hear in writing. Apart from that my discharge will be the full year. Yes I had gambled until about a week before Bankruptcy

I think if someone did blow it all on clothes and the statements showed that then they may get a BRO also. I see where you are coming from, but there you go. And yes, you can go to court and challenge them. I however, am going to accept whatever they tell me and move along with life :)

So if she said your discharge will be the full year that means you wont get BRO right or am I getting confused? Thought BRO meant the period you are undischarged is extended?
