i'm really really pleased to see how life has moved on for you!We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
any news on the accomodation front, AmigaHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
I am still in the Landladys place. I am trying to save up a deposit as everywhere wants 6 months rent in advance, so that is proving a big struggle as you can imagine!0

hi amiga
good to hear from you! glad you're still working. for me it helps to lurk these pages, but i'm sure for others they don't want a daily reminder
take care of yourself and don't worry about that call tomorrow x0 -
Well I called back
And have been "invited" to a face to face interview on the 3rd of March!
I always knew I was going to get a BRU but part of me hoped I would get away with it! Seems like I won't
I am a bit scared and nervous ( not of the BRU) but of the questions and digging up stuff I am trying to forget about!0 -
hi Amiga, dont worry about the interview, you knew this was going to happen, so nothing has really changed, has it? Its not going to affect your road to recovery, its just one more step on the road and one step closer to end of the bankruptcy.
In fact this is probably the last big step leftHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

You are of course correct
I just hope this really is it. I will fully accept the BRU. At least the lady I spoke to was polite and seemed nice enough.0 -
I agree with DI amiga...they just want a chat they're not trying to catch you out or spring anything on you...just be yourself & answer what they ask (they'll see you this time so they can see how its affecting you)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

hi Amiga
my brother went br with a lot of it as a result of a gambling problem. he had a face to face interview and just took the questions on the chin, hands in the air, admitted it was as a result of gambling and showed he was very sorry...he was very lucky and walked away without a bru. all i'm saying is just be open and honest, and humble, that's all you can do. it's only an hour.
i know you don't want a reminder of how you got here, but it will soon be behind you. please let us know how you get on x0 -
Hi Amiga. Don't feel guilty for not sticking around, some people do and some people don't. It looks like you are moving forward which is a good thing. Just be sure to come back from time to time and let us know how you are doing!
Good luck with your interview - maybe you will be able to get more 'closure' after it.
