Oh sorry I didn't explain it well

No I will get discharged in August after 12 months, however your BRO lasts for a period after that. So if I get a 3 year BRO it will start on August 19 2010 and finsh August 2013

    Hello all

Just got back from the OR. Was a total of 90 minutes so nothing to bad. Went through EVERYTHING but the lady wasn't judgemental or mean. At the end she basically said the reason I was called in was due to the high chance I will be getting a BRO. She did say any other questions would be dealt with on the phone or email so I don't think I will be going again thank goodness! All that worry for nothing really. When she listed my betting amounts I was just ashamed, it all came flooding back and I am feeling pretty rubbish at the moment.

Thank you all for the best wishes, you are all stars

    hi Amiga
i'm glad you got through it today.

Sorry to hear it all came flooding back, remember you can't do anything about what has already been done but you can change the future - and that's the important thing. i do hope once this is done you can put it down as history, no more punishing yourself, and move on.

all the best Amiga, i think you're doing really well x

Hi Amiga - glad to hear your news and that the worst of it is finally over. As you say, you will still be discharged and a BRO won't really have much affect on your day to day life.

    Thanks agan guys

Still feeling rubbish, am hoping I feel better when the OR report comes thorough with the length of the BRU on it. I just want to accept it, and move on with stuff. Still think BR was my only option but will be really glad when August gets here and I am discharged

    I don't mind at all,

I don't go to counselling anymore due to the fact I live in a small town and the nearest one to me is 20 miles away. The OR took my car back ( I wasn't working at the time of the BR) so I have no way to get there at night with the patchy bus/train service we have here. I still read the Gamcare forums and cannot recommend them enough to anyone who has a problem with Gambling or has a loved one with a problem.

Thanks for replying Amiga, Yes I have heard from other people how good Gamcare are, as you say for yourself or a loved one with a gambling problem. I am pleased you have help.

    Take care
