  • It could be a dreaded 'pending' that may or may not go on to be paid - having said that I got the dispatch now note 3 hours after the book had sold the other day, I missed the post because of that - so much for my 'same day dispatch' selling pitch!

Never thought of selling on amazon before reading the posts on here, so I thought I'd give it a go. I found the listing sooooo much more easier than eBay. I've listed 3 dvds so far, and sold my first one yesterday :T I made £5.99 after postage etc, on a dvd which was just collecting dust :j I think I've caught the selling bug now :rotfl:
  • Thanks AT - I have checked and it is a "pending" - what happens if it remains pending?

I sold a DVD on amazon last week and posted last monday. But I've just got an email from the purchaser who say's he's not received it. I've got the proof of posting slip. Should I just offer a refund to 'keep the peace'??..
I'm not sure what to do, or how!!

    any thoughts pleaseeeee...
  • rivendale - not a lot you can do, you'll have to wait 72 hours and then if they haven't got the payment sorted out by then you need to relist it, they don't do it for you.
Jolaaled - I'd refund first then get a missing mail form from the PO and make a claim, it happens sometimes but thankfully not too often
chick-chick - it's very easy to turn a normal human being into a manic selling (or not-sold-anything-today) machine, jump off now if you don't want to get sucked in further.....

Just sold my first video today. Sold it for next to nothing so not sure that I'll actually make anything (other than a loss!) on the sale!

Out of interest, how much does it cost roughly to post a video in a jiffy bag second class?

The last one I sent was exactly £1 second class, but I've paid as little as 88p and as much as £1.21 for a vid.

    Soo
