That's really not fair. They probably bought the wrong type and now when they send it back it will be used!
Not to mention postage costs etc. :mad:de do-do-do, de dar-dar-dar0 -
At last, after over two weeks with no sales I have finally sold a book today and an expensive one £16.00.

I've found some books that sell for 1 penny (or a bit more) but they are brilliant :j
it's the Mills and Boon ones - I've been given a stack (to sell, she knows that I won't read them  ) of the Mills and Boon Modern Romances and Silhouette romances and I was really surprised to see that there were so few listed, some with no more than about 20 copies, they are selling from 1 penny but they are so thin, small and light so they will post very cheaply.
If I'd seen them for sale I would have passed them over assuming that there would be zillions for sale but it was an interesting revelation0 -

Sold a book last week for 1.49 in good condition. All other copies were very good or like new starting at £8. Was a clean tight copy though the pages were fairly discoloured, this was reflected in the description and the price (the book is 37 years old for heaven's sake!). The person has left me a 2* rating and knocked me down from 97% to 91% as the book was not in the condition expected! What did they want a gold plated copy!I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Hi guys. I have sold a DVD on Amazon, but have not received a "Sold Dispatch now" email. Its also not showing in the "Payments" section. What does this mean? I thought people had to pay immediately for it to be shown in your sold section??0

The buyers details probably have not cleared yet so do not send it off.
After my whinge - I sold two books last night for about £10 in total to a repeat buyer who was one of the first to leave me feedback.
I now have about three repeat buyers who appear to be hooked on different series- mainly fantasy or sci-fi."This site is addictive!"

Thanks Elona, will wait and see what happens. I was just a little bit suspicious as my DVD was about 24p cheaper than the next one and didn't know if there was something odd going on as normally the sold, dispatch now emails come almost simultaneously with a sale.
I have only been selling for a week and have made about £100 so far just selling off my old books and dvds! Thanks for all the help and suggestions on here! :T0
