What to do, if Amazon doesn't list the book you want to sell???
has anyone got any ideas??? ( AT??!!).
I've been to the local jumblie today and come back with books to sell..but i've got one that's quite recent (1992) and in good condition, but amazon don't list it. I know i can put it on ebay, but amazon is soooooooo much easier.
thanks everyone.0 -
I sold a boopk this morning at 10am. At 12.27pm I knocked on the buyer's door and handed him his book - you should have seen the look on his face!
Now if that doesn't earn me some decent feedback I don't know what will...
I've now sold 20 books and am still down as a new seller with no feedback.0 -
I have now got one feedback , not from the bloke I went to today "Good transaction, good communication." and 4 out of five... what stops the five I wonder?
Anyway, it all looks a bit better than the new seller bit.
...and thanks for the advice about matching a low price. I've had a book go down from 75p to 33p by undercutting a point every time the dealer did. I've now matched his price, maybe it will stablise.
Actually, it's a stupid title so is going to be hard to sell anyway.0 -

Did you give the buyer the £ 2.75 back he paid for postage?? :rotfl:
Ive heard of similar instances where the buyer has left bad feedback.0 -

I've just checked my account and since the start of April I've sold 11 books and received 3 sets of 5* feedback!!! Very pleased, especially reading on here how people don't seem to get any at all!!
Just need to search my bookcase for some more books to sell. OH still thinks this is a great idea as he's not that keen on all my books!!!
Thanks guys!!0 -

I hadn't thought of that :-(
He seemed genuinely pleased at the "super service" and I can always claim fuel money. I explained that I couldn't get to a post office until Tuesday and I didn't want him to wait for his book.
I'm worried now...0 -

the short answer is, if Amazon doesn't have it you can't get around it, is it one suitable for readitswapit? you might be able to swap for one that is Amazonable0
