  • I've got some craft books listed but none sold so far, don't know if that helps

  • I don't think that there are many cast iron certanties, you get a feel for it in time but so long as you don't spend too much on each book then it's not a great disaster if it doesn't fetch very much or takes a long time to shift

You can enter feedback for your buyers if you want to (up until about a year ago they used to encourage it) but unlike ebay where you want to praise prompt payment etc there isn't anything to really praise your buyer for, if they hadn't paid then there wouldn't have been a order so it's hard to think of something useful to say.

It's a courtesy if you have the time and inclination

AT I always leave feedback for them but just put "Thank you for your custom" - I am not sure where it goes though!

....or if it's a book you can use or wanted to read anyway. I bought some books to read and then listed them on Amazon. That way I get what I want...twice!!!

  • Could really do with some sales soon, maybe the bank holiday coming up might entice buyers?

Just restored my sales after having them on holiday settings. Sold a textbook this morning and agreed a swap with www.readitswapit.com which has also been really quiet lately.

Bought a couple of books at a car boot this morning. Both are penny books though! Typical. :D
  • We went booting today too, we bought about 20 books, they are in 2 piles now, swapit and Amazon, the swapits as you might have guessed were the penny ones (not that they looked like penny ones when we chose them :o) and the rest are up for sale already, the best priced one is up for £17, I paid £2 for it because I thought that it was a good'un, it was just a guess but thankfully it was OK

Help needed - I'm selling a book on marketplace and I've had an email contact from a buyer in Ireland (Dublin) asking if I can turn off my preferences to include outside the UK for this transaction. I would want to swtich it back afterwards. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I'm looking at the amazon sellers account stuff but can't see how to do it.

It's ok now I think I've found it!

Edit: I can't see how to change the setting for an idividual item.

I don't think it's worth it. There's other sellers for this item who are prepared to send internationally. If i get another email from her, I think I'll suggest this as an option.
