What is the difference between the Christmas alphabet and the ordinary alphabet?

The Christmas alphabet has NO - L (Noel)

Another Craft for the kids to make for Christmas, or maybe make a few up and make them into a set of Christmas Skittles:confused::

You will need: snowman1.jpg
• 2 Liter plastic soda bottle
• White and black acrylic paint
• Sponge brush
• Fine grain sand paper
• Red and black felt
• Pipe cleaners - Christmas colors
• Craft glue
• Plastic spray can lid (spray starch, or similar size)
• Plastic tub lid (butter tub or similar size)
1. Sand the surface of the bottle, spray can lid and tub lid. This will allow the acrylic paint to adhere to the surface.
2. Paint the spray can lid and tub lid black. Paint the bottle white. Allow to dry.
3. Cover the top and sides of the spray can lid and the top of the tub lid with black felt. Since you've painted them black, you don't need to be too precise with the felt. Center, and glue the spray can lid to the tub lid. You now have your snowman's hat. When the glue has dried, turn the hat over and cut a small hole in the bottom with an exacto knife. Make the hole a little smaller than the circumference of the top of the hat.
4. Fill the bottle about halfway with pebbles, sand or dirt. This will help keep your snowman from falling over.
5. Cut a strip of red felt about 2 feet long and 1" - 1 1/2" wide. (If your felt came in 12" squares, just cut two strips and glue the ends together. Tie this around the bottle, about 3-4" down from the top. Secure with a dab of glue.
6. Make earmuffs using 3 pipe cleaners. Two of them will be coiled to make the actual "muffs". The third will be the band attaching them. (Attach the pipe cleaners by twisting the ends together.) Drape the earmuffs across the back/top of the bottle. Secure with craft glue.
7. Attach the hat to the bottle by running a bit of glue around the inside of the hole and then place the hat over the top of the lid. Decorate the hat with a pipe cleaner.
8. Draw a face using a black marking pen or black paint. Draw buttons under the scarf, or glue on black felt circles.
snowman2.jpgSNOWMAN #2
You will need:
• Liter plastic soda bottle
• Sand, dirt or pebbles
• 2-3" diameter styrofoam ball
• White and black acrylic paint
• Sponge brush
• Fine grain sand paper
• Black felt
• Black buttons
• Christmas ribbon
• Craft glue
• Plastic spray can lid (spray starch, or similar size)
• Plastic tub lid (butter tub or similar size)
1. Same as #1-4 above.
2. Remove the lid from the bottle and squidgy the styrofoam ball down onto it. If you need to, you can carve out the hole, using scissors or a sharp knife.
3. Tie a long piece of ribbon around the snowman's neck.
4. Tie a shorter piece of the same ribbon around the top hat.
5. Attach the hat to the head as above.
6. Glue buttons to the styrofoam to make the snowman's face.
7. Cut small circles of black felt and glue them onto the snowman's belly

How cool are these little fella's?

2368_main_candycanemain.jpg?1249113466

Materials:

Striped (preferably diagonal) red and white fabric about 2 ft x 1 ft
White thread
Polyester stuffing
Sewing machine
Two googly eyes
Small piece of red yarn
Craft glue
Scissors

Instructions:

Fold the fabric in half so you have two layers of fabric with the wrong side facing you.
Sketch out your candy cane design around 10 inch in length and around 2 inch wide. Cut out your cane allowing a little extra for sewing.

Sew your two pieces together leaving a gap at one end. Turn your cane the right way out.

Using the toy filling stuff your cane as firm or as soft as you would like it.

Finish up by sewing the end of the cane closed and gluing on your candy cane face.

Yeah, that's the one - they're moving to just over by Upnor. I live in Brompton...so I suppose that means gillingham too! Just been to the Range and got a lovely basket for MIL Xmas hamper, white wicker with a rose fabric lining...very pleased with it. Also got all the stuff for my Xmas folder, gotta go back through the posts now and see what I need to do with it all!

Turkey Poop.

Same idea as reindeer poop, using chocolate covered Raisins.

----Turkey Poop Poem----

You invited me to dinner
with your family and your friends.
You didn't say I was the main dish.
For me it was "THE END!"
You frightened me so badly
I knew I had been duped!
So I left you with my calling card:
This bag of Turkey Poop!

;)
