back to christmas - made santa sacks years ago with old sacks decorated with father xmas and reindeer - I posted pics last xmas 'show us your tree' forum I think, they were easy to make ... this year thought would make Merry Xmas wall hanging with another sack using tartan ribbons - looking for templates, any ideas for inspiration?

I really like the look of these - might do one of these for my son and boyfriend.

those sacks are lovely - are you going to make them yourself? could use fleece if you can get it on the roll somewhere.

Hi everyone missed you all very muchly! Haven't caught up but will do soon. Thanks to K for updating the thrifty blog and to Choccy for reminding about 1st month updates . I will try and update it today with things that you have all found! I can officially start looking forward to xmas now!

Welcome back Jammy, missed you. I got DS1s Dr Who DVD in the post this morning, so thats him started for xmas. Been shopping in ASDA and bought my white mugs so must try and do them with the kids one day next week. Also been to B&Ms and they have little wooden bird feeders for the kids to paint reduced to £1 so picked a few of them up. So not a bad day so far.

Evening all!

Was just typing "organised christmas" into google as i'd never even heard of the site until I read about it on this thread and ended up stumbling across the most brilliant site called "organised mum" - you've probably all seen their stuff before but they sell lovely diaries with meal plan sections and loads of other little gorgeous bits and pieces. Anyway, to cut a long story short - I went looking for a website that could save me some money and instead found one that ended up costing me £25...bloody typical! LOL.
