ha ha that made me laugh sarah
Well nothing much to report here in the way of Christmas - I have actually gotten a Christmas file together now though so its looking good. Am sat sorting through bills at the minute to see how much spare money ill have next month that i can save away -driving me nuts because i always have the best intention to save money for bens Xmas ready as I hate last minute oh no i haven't got enough for that shopping and want to be prepared. but i put it away and end up spending it on something else if im bored - will power greatly appreciated this end people.
I'm thinking of using an old bank account but I have the card for it so might see if my mother in law will hold the card for me so im not tempted to use it. Least that way then I know I'm saving something and she wont give it to me unless im absolutely desperate for it. Hoping to get £100 saved away this month at least but i should have an extra £100 in my wages as well from overtime so fingers crossed.Time to find me again0 -

Hi Sammy-kaye, have you tried the post offices Xmas Saving club? You get a card to top up as and when you want but they don't let you use it until november, think you can load up to a £1000 on it, I've got one but not put much on it this year yet. I like the fact that they don't activate it until november as it stops inmpulse using. You can use it in argos, sainsburys boots and some other places too.

Morning all!
Had a busy busy weekend – we’re re-painted the room that will be the nursery – just one more coat of gloss to go tonight – and ripped up the old carpet. So almost there with the basics!
Didn’t get around to doing the freezer though.Still time!!
So not overly Christmasy this weekend.....
Irishgirl62 – my bargain wasn’t QUITE as good as yours, but we managed to get the nursery carpet, and new carpet for the bathroom, bor less than £50 !!! Allied carpets were also closing down this weekend (not all stores apparently, but lots!)
mary-op – hope you’re having a lovely break!!
Sugarspun - any news today?

They have loads of stuff reduced in there some of it half price and then 3 for 2 - mostly putdoor toys though but might be of use to someone.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
