1.IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY CHEF TO COOK YOUR DINNER WHO WOULD YOU HAVE ANY WHY?

It would have to be Gino D`acampo but I would spend all the time in the kitchen ogling him!! We would have something yummy and Italian of course and dont even start me on dessert! which would be even more yummy and Italian! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    2. IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE 3 PEOPLE TO HAVE XMAS LUNCH WITH, (DEAD OR ALIVE, CELEBRITIY ONLYS) WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?.

Eva Peron - She was very business like, almost the Katie Price of the day, knew what she wanted and got there.

Walt Disney - Ahead of his time with his thinking.

The Stig - SO I could see who he is!!
Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700

    2. IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE 3 PEOPLE TO HAVE XMAS LUNCH WITH, (DEAD OR ALIVE, CELEBRITIY ONLYS) WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?.

Robbie Williams - Because i love him and he could sing to me

Think I would just like my Oh as he cooks a lovely dinner and knows what I like (I don't eat meat but like fish and veggy stuff)

    2. IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE 3 PEOPLE TO HAVE XMAS LUNCH WITH, (DEAD OR ALIVE, CELEBRITIY ONLYS) WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?.

Thierry Henry as I have always admired him and am a big Arsenal fan

    Arsene Wenger same as above

Stephen Fry as I love watching QI and he is so clever and interesting.

I have done all my gift shopping and got a few bits for next years birthdays in already. OH got paid yesterday early and got a nice Xmas bonus so daughter has got a netbook which she wanted reserved in Argos and we can pick it up either tomorrow or Saturday.

I sat and wrote out my list of who to buy for for next year last night as I already have some presents sorted for birthdays which are early in the year. I want to make everyone something again next year, not sure whether to do knitting again or something different.

We are going food shopping in the morning for our monthly shop and also for Xmas food so looking forward to that although we have bought our main course for Xmas dinner already. OH and daughter are having a roast turkey thing thats big enough for the two of them and I have a salmon something lol, cant remember what but looked nice. Will do me for a couple of meals once its cooked.

I am going to Dad's on Sunday afternoon and staying overnight to give him some company. Will be taking my sewing with me. Have got another quilt ready to put the binding on and one tacked up ready to hand quilt. Then one more left to do but should have plenty of time to finish them all.

Thanks for all of your fabulous suggestions. The one I ended up going with was 2 nights away in a 5 star hotel for both mum and dad (joint gift), includes full english breakfast both days, and a three course meal each at night, and either a round of golf or a spa treatment for £85 per person for the entire weekend. All of that set me back £170 which I think is amazing !

That sounds absolutely great! AND what a good price!! I'm sure they'll both love it.:T

    Hello all

Don't worry this is very gentle...... with xmas round the corner, quick xmas question?

1.IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY CHEF TO COOK YOUR DINNER WHO WOULD YOU HAVE ANY WHY?

I think I'd be too excited and nervous to eat if this was one of the well-known chefs so I'll choose my son. Although if he were still alive ( I think he's dead but not too sure) I would have chosen the Galloping Gourmet.

    2. IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE 3 PEOPLE TO HAVE XMAS LUNCH WITH, (DEAD OR ALIVE, CELEBRITIY ONLYS) WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?.

    A - Derren Brown

    B - Uri Geller

    C -Kim Woodburn

I don't think there would be a lull in the conversation, do you? :D
