Got the boots email about the offer of the week £40 rrp seems sky high plus don't know about the quality of this range either, might have a nebs if I can drag my poorly bum into town this weekend.

Feel dreadful today with cold still after 2 weeks now.

Not much Chrismassy done recently but did make the Christmas Eve Hamper Tags out of cards and stickers as have a ton of these

Have made a list for this weekend of Christmas jobs which will try and complete to catch up a little as once next week is over it is nearly here!

Must finish the cards off, write cards and then make the pots of gold and wrap up the hampers then nearly done and dusted.

"Stick to the list stick to the list and get it done woman!"

cdsmiler - well done with the Abbey...........youre right -does pay to complain.............we don't do enough of it

Messed about with 'primitive' hearts/stars garland thingy to try and work out what to put where.........gave up in the end -couldn't make my mind up............think it needs OH's input.

Got some mini post it notes yesterday from charity shop so making some more post it note key rings...........thought of a few people I could pop in a little 'gift bag of bit' for. So, thats tomorrow sorted out..........:j

Hi - how do you make these? They sound like an excellent stocking filler but I've never heard of them before

    Thanks, Helen x

helen - I got it from the card making thread..........I'll have a look and see if I can find it again and pop it on.

Poor OH, bless him, after such a worrying year what with one thing and another, had the bright idea of seeing Peter Kay and combining it with a trip to Liverpool to see his mum till he saw the ticket prices and freaked out:eek: Said he needed something to look forward to. Well, the bright spot of this year was a trip to Worthing, stayed at Travelodge on the sea front and combined it with seeing my son and his girlfriend. So, I've been on the Travelodge site, hoping for a £9 a night room..........no such luck but did manage to get 4 nights for £76 for the end of April. OH's birthdays end of March, sons is beginning of April, couldn't find anything around then but the dates I've booked are ok with OH.........he's well happy............something good next year to focus on.:T My Christmas pressie to him...............his to me is simply being here:o

Wow - they are lovely but unfortunately I don't have any of the stuff to make them however, one of my personal goals for this forthcoming year is to start crafting so I've bookmarked those sites for future reference so thank you, Helen x
