Scattymam – hope your husband gets well soon!!

Rufus – thinking of you! Not the best timing. Lots of love.

3-cheeky-princesses – I felt the same with planet Hollywood – not regarding the premises as I haven’t been to the new one, but for the price I thought the food was really average! Luckily when we went we had Tesco vouchers too! Lol

    Mary-op – hope he’s home soon!!

Mum2one – thanks for the santa challenge!! I think I’m pretty much on top of it all, and since almost all major Christmas meals/days will be at other people’s houses, I think I’m getting off lightly! Fingers crossed the baby comes before Christmas day though… lol

Last day of work today! Maternity leave starts tomorrow!! Yeay!!

Thanks mum to one you really know how to organise everyone!

I have just done a couple more bits of shopping online so brother's gf now sorted, just need to find time to do some wrapping. May wait until after my exam (10th Dec) as woke up in a cold sweat last night thinking about it, although as have just redecorated our bedroom and it is TIDY there is a big box in the middle of ds room - he has not even gone near it which I find highly amusing, although all his gifts are wrapped and hidden in the attic, apart from his bike which is at MIL house.
Made quite a bit on ebay just recently and bought a couple of things through ebay that other people are buying for the kids so will actually get the physical cash back in my hand. The £100 in 100 days is coming along really nicely - I can't wait till the Next sale!
I keep adding a couple of bits for Christmas dinner to the shopping list every week - doing an online shop at the moment which is keeping the cost down. Still have to get the advent calendars though - any idea where to buy the sacks which have the 24 little pouches?
Motto: You gotta be in it to win it!:j
2015 Objective - Pay off credit cards/Overpay mortgage
2015 Wins: Nothing yet, but keeping trying :T

thanks to whoever posted the posting dates, I always know I have to post my dads early (new zealand) but it always slips to the back of the mind especially with him and my stepmum being awkward to buy for so put it off- thats tomorrow sorted.

Also, since nobody I know will share in the excitement- we are getting a home bargains in shrewsbury (helpful for mum2one as well!)

rufus - so sorry to hear about your dad...................I do hope the treatment does the trick.

sugarspun - best wishes for your OH

Well, OH came out of hospital this morning..............despite nurse telling me doctor would be seeing him last night -he didn't. Doctor saw him this morning and he was home by 10.30am. We get the results next Tuesday (I knew it would be Tuesday !).

Mum -Thanks for the November challenge -can I really show off and say I've got all the presents, and got some spare ones (always manage to get more than I need:confused:)
I'm afraid the rest of the 'countdown' for christmas I daren't do.............don't know whats going to be happening with OH yet. I;m making decorations and stuff and foster daughter has invited is there for christmas dinner but if OH ends up in hospital I think I'd rather stay home. But mustn't sound morbid and depressing...........if he does, then we can always have our Christmas another time can't we.

I am having to make some sort of list for 'what to do' like posting stuff.................send another parcel today, two more to go and I'm done.
Next week I'll send all the christmas cards out that need posting (already got a few stamps but bound to need more!)
Finish off 'primitive' fabric decorations for dresser
Sort out a date with foster daughter to take me to deliver goodies to son and grandchildren

    Think thats it :j
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Welcome to all who have joined the thread over the last few days XXX

Awwww congratulations :grouphug: I am good & quick at giving birth! My son was 4 1/2 hours from 1st contraction to birth, My dd1 was 1 1/2 hours from 1st contraction to birth and dd 2 was 40 mins!

RUFUS ~ Really sorry to hear your worrying news. Not any help at the moment for you but this is the easiest cancer to treat get rid of for good for men. My mum had cancer in her womb and ovaries and has now been clear for 5 years. Thinking of you and your family X

Well we had a lovely day on Monday. We went to Harrods and saw Fatherr Christmas! It was lovely but one of the staff made a comment about a naughty child who was queueing in front of us that made me feel a bit uncomfortable tho :o We then went to Hamleys which my kids loved and i ended up buying few more Christmas presents when i have finished theirs really! Then Planet Hollywood for tea. We were really disappointed with Planet Hollywood tho. They have moved premises and it looks nice but did not have the atmosphere it did before. And the food was really average too. :o But it was a nice day out and the kids loved it.

Ok i am a big baby and really really scared of the Dentist but have a appointment tomorrow for a check up but i know i will need work but am so scared

I am also in the mood all of a sudden re- decorating the house! I think its like a spring clean but at christmas! So must be a chrsitmas clean! :rotfl:

MUM2ONE ~ Thank you for the challenges. They will keep me busy and organised. Your a star XX

I am thinking of New Year Resolutions and mine is going to be to learn to drive :T

I had to changeg my t-shirt after reading your post, i spluttered my cup of tea out after reading how quick ur labour was..

DD took her time in coming, they did a sweep on the Wed and told me I'd have her by the Friday, (in a way I'm glad she didn't as that was sisters bday and would of been hard for parents), my waters broke on the Sat ngt, 7pm, contractions started at 2am sunday am, then she finally arrived at 11.55am sunday ...... just in time for opening hours...... xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Ur wonderful, I owe u a coffee for that. Wasn't sure whether H&M was taking over the bottom part as well, sounds daft but if I'm going to Poundland, lift down, through TKMAxx into Poundland + reverse the journey...

Can't wait now till it opens. xx

Can I just say a massive thank you to everyone on this thread, both new and old posters, without you all this thread would of fell flat on its face.

We're a great bunch of ladies, and very organised by Christmas, and I'm very honoured to be part of it all.

Love setting the challenges, makes me more organised, and great to find others that like me, love Christmas, need to be organised for a 1001 reasons, and all love a bargain or 2.

I keep asking Santa for tall, dark, handsome male, but guess he's busy with all the little'uns.....!!! Maybe one day.......xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
