  • CONGRATULATIONS SCATTYMAM!! Welcome Jack!! I’m so pleased for you!! And boy was that QUICK! lol

    Mum2one – I haven’t had any secret santa codes yet. <sob>

Mary-op – hope the blood tests went well yesterday, and his biopsy isn’t too bad today!

CDSmiler ~ Glad everything is ok with baby. Its good the hospital are being cautious tho. It must be very reassuring for you. I was really worried about everything when i was pregnant incase it affected baby. You have a healthy attitude whereabout i was a nervous wreck. I am not usually like that tho

Yeah, I’m very lucky, it’s a good hospital. And I’ve been like this throughout the pregnancy really – what will be will be! I’m doing everything I can right for me and the baby, so if something happens – however bad – I know I can’t blame myself. Maybe that’s why I’ve been so calm! We shall see if all the pent up stress explodes during labour… lol poor hubby if it does! Hope you had a lovely day yesterday!

Ragz – condensation problem – we have the same in our bathroom!! Isn’t it frustrating!! I hope you’re having a better day today!

Seeing lots of town decorations up now!! Exciting! Also drove through Cardiff Friday night (to see Eddie Izzard!) and all the Winter Wonderland was lit up! Lovely!

A week today I’m putting MY decorations up! Can’t wait now. And only today and tomorrow in work until I’m off on maternity leave! Even better!

Amazon issues – I think I’m pretty much done ordering from Amazon. I remember that problem a few years ago but I’ve shopped there early ever since and not had a problem thankfully. Hope no one else has any major problems with them!

Well after wondering what to put in my homemade crackers, I decided for my side of the family we’ll have a raffle ticket in each cracker which related to a pot of gold! Got all my bits for the pots now, except the scratch cards, so will have to do that soon!

Hope everyone else is doing really well!

  • scattymam congratulations!!! well done you, how wonderful to have your new arrival in time for a lovely family Christmas.

mary I am thinking of you today, hope all goes smoothly.

ragz glad you're feeling a bit better. Don't let people like that get to you, they are idiots and know they are in the wrong. You keep on driving. Just think how miserable they must be living their life like that.

kalojac I totally know what you mean, I found this thread back in July and thought I was sorted, and now am panicking about how little time I have left! Sat down and made a big list with deadlines and it is so much!!! Think I am more stressed cos a couple of weekends are taken out - this weekend we are away to London, which will be great fun but totally unproductive; 5 Dec when i have loads of shopping planned I have to go to 2 xmas fayres; 19 Dec I have to go and get my step-son as DH who would normally go is away. It's a whole day of travelling.

So....must not fall asleep on the sofa in the evenings! Must be productive, organised, efficient person! (Wish me luck:rolleyes:)

CDSMILLER - I had to smile about the line with hubby when ur in labour, my mum was in with me, and at one stage I thought I was pulling her t-shirt, I wasn't I'd got her by the skin of the neck and apparently yanked her across the bed, (shes no lightweight), her sholuder, chest and neck was black + blue by the time I finished........ but as they say its all worth it in the end. x

A few months ago I was way ahead, now I keep thinking of more stuff I need to do!
Sorted my utility room yesterday though so that's really tidy now.
Finally got the lampshades back up in the LR that OH took down to paint the walls when we moved in 8 months ago! But I broke one...
Bedroom still tidy and still waiting for a plumber so we can have some heat in there!
Boys room now a mess as I ended up moving a lot of clutter in to there but at least all they do in there is sleep lol
LR nearly ready for decorations and tree. Mine will be going up first weekend in december I think.

Still can't find MIL's present, really don't want to have to buy another one again (she was meant to have it for her birthday in July but I lost in then too - it's been found since so I know it's around somewhere.)

scattymam1 Has anyone got their tree and decorations up yet????

Mine is going up on Saturday/Sunday this week. On Sunday we are off to Clumber Park to a craft fair as well so hoping I can find a few bits and pieces there for presents (went to 2 last weekend with no luck). If I can't I will have to have a trip to Hobbycraft to buy bits and pieces to make some myself. I am so going to be more organised next year

    Congratulations scattymam!

It's all hectic here, Husband is in hospital with pancreatitis. He was in for two weeks, sent home for two days and now back in again so the small one and I are trying to look after each other as best we can. The Christmas shopping is definitely finished though!
