Not yet but thinking might do it on sunday with the kids, I know its a few days early but like to do it with the kids. Seen pleanty up on my street and round the area and some have been up over a month:eek:. Oh I know how you feel RE Landlords:mad:, mine are a waste of time, we noticed damp in the front room 4 weeks ago now and told them and still no one has been out, I think it will be a threat of enviromental health today and if nothing done I will get intouch with them at the town hall, if your landlord does nothing get intouch with the local housing team about it and see who you need to get hold of in your area, your landlord has the responsibility to sort these things out and if they dont they can be enforced by the local coucil.

One of my neighbours has her tree up! I usually put mine up on the 1st December, so that gives me a week to clean the rest of the house, the kitchen and dining area are gleaming even did the oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher etc at the weekend, but between work and everything else, will be really pushed to get everything done by 1st. Boys have got their first xmas party on 5th so want the tree up by then at the latest.

Still got lots to do, but hope that by Sunday night I will have bought most of it, big budget restraints and moving from weekly to monthly pay has really slowed things down for me this year, must buy from the end of January next year, starting to panic a bit, after being on this thread since the summer - typical me!!!:eek:

Got the boys xmas cards, but not my own, not got gift bags yet, xmas table ware, crackers, work's secret santa - I am really panicking - can you tell, got a day off today and I must be productive with it!!! May need a few boxes of "pro plus" to get me through this week and get all my jobs done :mad:.

Ragz - Dont worry over that I have had my licence just over two years and I am not normally someone who swears but get me in the car and some div giving out a me and they get a mouth full. Dont let em put you off

I have seen a few houses near me have been covered in lights but dont have them turned on yet. Putting our tree and decorations up on the second weekend of december.

Just waiting for 2 more pressies I ordered to arrive then that all my pressies!!!!!

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Been busy this week trying to get a few things done and I'm getting there slowly but surely. Everytime I have a break and attempt to do something Chrsitmassy something gets in the way. eg: a dog with a poorly paw that bled all over my living room floor and then 3 trips to the vets to get injections and a small op to get offending lump on paw removed. then dodgy heating system had to get a guy out to have a look and a quote of £2000 later to replace it I think we will just stick with the dodgy heating system for now - there only is the 2 of us to deal with it. thank goodness.

no tree up yet but maybe within the next two weeks ill get round to doing it. MIL has had her decorations up for 2 weeks already said it was the kids wanting it up but I have my suspisions it was her really.

sorry for long post off now to get on with some work before the boss shouts at me lol
