Aww Im the same - Ive only been driving since Feb and whenever something like that happens I get really panicky and start shaking and cant drive for days! Just ignore him, he probably knew he was in the wrong thats why he wanted to be-little you - they always do it! The amount of times men have pulled out on me and I get beeped at or get the dreaded 'finger' Chin up its nearly Christmas! x
Ah hope your ok, don't let idiots like that win, he obviously knew he was wrong, asd you were a woman, he thought he could be a prize pillock and blame it on you.
Don't let him beat you, you get back in that car and drive..... even if its 2 mins drive round the block.
I was 22 when I had my 1st car accident, the car was a complete right off, (it was on a 3yr loan, third party fire + theft on ins) and I had the car for a week, part-ex my old car, and whilst I was driveing the steering had locked while I was driving, and it was across the moors down in Devon, luckly no-one else was involved, but the car went into a mound of earth, which according to the AA, was like hitting a brick wall..... the front headlight was under the windscreen, the roof had buckled, and I got out of it and walked away.
Thou I have have few aches, pains and bruises, and wasn't meant to drive for a few days, I didn't want to drive again, had no idea how the heck I was going to get home, but at the time my AA membership covered either free hire car 48hrs, free rail travel or they drive me home. I wanted to be driven home, the AA bloke took me back to the caravn to get sorted, remember to this day he said, how the heck are you going to get this in one suitcase, your have to drive...... without him I would never of drove again.
I was driving my little escort, and the free hire car was a small car, but as I was going to extend the hire for another 3 days, this poor AA man was arranging it all, and came back with we've got you a med car, thr hire company have waived the extra fee for our 48hr period.
I was expecting something sinilar to my escort...... no he's comes with a brand new L reg (as it was then!!) Peugeot 405, the 1st thing I said was its got a boot........ I'd only ever driven hatchbacks.
I was so glad I drove that car, as the freedom with a car is out of this world . Don't let an idiot win. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I have only just managed to get to Argos to collect a catalogue...and boy am I disappointed.
did anyone else struggle with the secret santa? I was looking for a particular thing which they don't seem to sell anymore and couldn't find much for £10 or less. I have got two so far but am really struggling with no3. I can think of loads of things to choose for my swappee I just can't find them in Argos! I apologise in advance for whoever gets my choices:o
I found it quite hard too, think its possibly more difficult when you don't physically know the person you have to buy for, but its done now, hopefully its okay.0 -

Weve been together 9 years and hes hated every single thing about Christmas and the run up to Christmas, but for some strange reason he is looking forward to it.Its very strange but im loving every minute of it.
Has anyone got their tree and decorations up yet????0 -
Scattymam - Huge congratulations! You take it easy now...
Mary-op - best of luck tomorrow.
GGGGRRRRRRRRRR I am sooo wound up - was driving back from town and some idiot nearly pulled out in front of me then decided this was my fault and followed me through town with his lights on full beam, beeping at me! I was so upset, couldn't work out what the hell I was meant to have done wrong (only been driving 6 weeks!)
Then I tried to put lampshades back up in the living room and smashed one, won't be able to find another as they are really old (landlords won't be pleased).
We asked landlords for a plumber today as still have no working radiator in our room (lots of mould and it's freezing!) and no plumber yet...
Having a really bad day
I've been driving for 14 years and the other day I was on a slip road and couldnt get on the dual carraigeway as there was so much traffic, so had to stop and wait, then this guy in a brand new estate car came behind me flashing his lights and beeping but there was nowhere I could go! He pushed in front of a car on the road and drove by the side of me shouting and swearing and then sped off cutting up another car. I was so shaky driving the rest of the way to work adn every time I go to that side road now i remember it all over again

Woohoo, so close to having my Christmas shopping finished :j.
I managed to go shopping Saturday AND Sunday this weekend which never happens, so I got loads done. I got lots of bits and bobs to finish presents. I also got 4 gift sets in Next for my 2 teaching assistants and 2 parent helpers. The gift sets were £6 each but with Dh's discount I only paid £18 for all 4.
I also got my jewellery making things out last night and made a pair of earrings and matching necklace for my Mum. I haven't made any jewellery for ages and I'm really pleased with them, I hope she'll like themMaking money for Christmas 2012!0 -

Don't know if its any help, re photo calender, but if you have a Peacocks near you, they do print your own calenders, everything included there £2.00 a set.
