    Hello all !
Well what a day.............OH woke this morning at 5am coughing up blood.........I rang nhs direct and they said get appt with gp.......may be the aftermath of his endoscopy or an infection. GP thinks infection and given him anti biotics but if he has another night like it he's to go back tomorrow and they'll ring the hospital
Needless to say I was shattered............did go back to bed but didn't sleep much so all I've done today is paint a couple of smallish plant pots (cream round the bottom and sort of copper colour at the top) and popped in a couple of fir cones that I've draped stars round............thats four I've got now..........two little ones I bought at the street fair and the ones I made.
Best I put a full stop on the pine dresser decorations now.............I've got stuff I bought from poundland last week, soft trees, these fir cone things and some other bits and bobs upstairs (can't remember what:confused:)
Needless to say top of my other desk still utter mess and cluttered up with 'stuff' Couldn't face it today.
OH's gone for a lie down so I've come on here for a bit of 'sanity' :rotfl:
Was going to post couple of parcels today ..........oh well, hopefully tomorrow ?
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Xmas Saver!
Made batch 2 of christmas cakes, - halfway through the hand mixer breaks!!, but I also broke the food processor when I made the tropical cake.

Have to confess we cut one of the tropical cakes - just to sample-

    these are the family comments

Dad - Is it meant to be light, this one could use as a doorstop!!

Mum - Loved it, even had a 2nd piece

Me - It was unusual, the 1st bite was weird, only because it didn't look like a tradational cake, but it was gorgeous.

Bailey - he did self service and scoffed a piece down, then went and sat by the cupboard as if to ask for a 2nd piece.

Overall I'd give it a 9/10, heavy cake, but very fruity, and great tasteing.

Been organised and did a list of all the items that I got for dds xmas fayre as prizes
    inc-
the 3 money books - Big thank you to Martin + the team for donating them
    Gift vouchers supermarkets
    Day out passes
    12 month pass Ironbridge museums

Without adding 4 sets of gifts, the value of all the items come at £400, not bad for my 1st effort on the PTA.

    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
