sarah - super idea to put all santas 'jokes' in a jar.............wish I'd thought of that. Could fill my little pots up easy.............:rotfl:

Thanks Mary but I can't take credit for that idea, think it was bunbun (sorry if it was someone else i'm only on my first coffee) who came up with it, for part of the christmas advent calander, but yes it is a good idea.

  • Thanks Sarah great idea :T Would love to make these for and with my children and also as gifts but does anyone know where you get soap flakes from?? Also ones that are ok for sensitive skin to. :D

I'm not sure where you can buy them but here is how you can make them with your own brand of soap so you know they will be ok for the kiddies sensitive skin...

    What you need:

    Cheese Grater
    Soap

    HOW:
    1. Place a cheese grater over a few paper towels or paper plate (something bendable to catch the shavings).
    2. Grate soap on a medium size so that the shavings are about the size of a grain of rice.
    3. Pour shavings into the container you wish to store them in.
    4. Store in a cool dry place in an air tight container until you are ready to use.

    I'm very exicted.

Just ordered my first voucher from Dooyoo-£20 Amazon, thought it was only going to be £5.00

The wii fund, is getting a massive boost. xx
    :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

A little tip for buying more wii remotes if you buy the pack with the "play" game it is the same price as buying a remote on its own. Then sell the play game on EBay for about £10 (thats what i got for mine). So you are actually buying the remote for £10 less as your getting £10 back from selling the game..

That is what i have done with ours so over a few months we now have 4 remotes (1 for each child and me) so good for playing some of the games where you all play against eachother at the same time (sonic olympics, rayman raving rabbits, cooking mamma, mario party etc etc).

  • I have just ordered a few crafty bits from yellow moon in their sale section. Our christmas elf is going to each day after school leave a activity for my children to do to get them in the christmas mood! :D Cant wait for it all to arrive! :p

If anyone wants a look its here plus they contribute a bit towards the school or nursery of your choice! Some of it is pricy but some of the sale bits are reasonable:
