sarah - just re-done my list so its more readable..........I'm nearly there......:T mind you having said that I'm never going to make my target date of finishing everything by the end of august...........think I was a bit over the top with that silly idea...........:rotfl:
And there's bound to be loads more ideas crop up that I'll end up sticking on my list..........:o
I really must finish off the bits I've started before I begin anything else.
I don't think I will reach my target date either Mary, too many distractions, What with decorating and the kids running me ragged Lol, That few weeks where I was Ill really knocked my Timetable, but these things are sent to try us, Im sure we will all be done and dusted by december and putting our feet up relaxing and enjoying all the festive fun.:D:D:D:D

Well I have another busy day today, so hope the sun stays shining so the kids can play in the garden with Grandad. Got to finish of the bits of decorating and do a mamouth tidy round. Then I can get stuck in making some Christmas Gifts with the kids, got everything I need in its just having them in the mood now as I tried to do some the other day and they both were like, "In a bit mum, cant you see were playing and it's not even Christmas yet??"

I get this from Ben. Whenever he sees me doing something Christmassy he always asks if its Christmas tomorrow so it gets him over excited so have to be discreet what I'm doing around him otherwise I'm nagged to death.
Haven't managed to get much craft stuff done lately and my schedule of what needs doing month by month is getting very long in September because July got added to August and I don't think I'll manage to get half of August done either with it being school holidays. SO roll on September and I'll be Christmas prepping like a woman possessed.Time to find me again0 -

I absolutely love this! At the start before it said what you needed I thought the material was fabric. What a cheap and easy make, I think even I could manage it! These would look fab with the flannel cakes or sock cupcakes as you said Irishgirl and wrapped in cellophane with a bit of curly ribbon, you could sell these at a craft fair and I think people would go mad for them, they look great.0 -
Hello all - re-organised my christmas folder of things I made last year and stuff to do this year. Going to re-do one of the shopping list notebooks I covered -don't like the paper I've used - get that done and thats 6 more little bits done for the endless shoeboxes in the spare room.............:rotfl:
Must write eldest sons birthday card (birthday Wednesday:eek:)-still haven't found a little verse for inside...............luckily he just wants money -his girlfriends birthday is September so have to make sure all her stuff is sorted.
Ho hum...............oh well, back to the shopping list notebook and the confusion about what paper to use............:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all
Irish girl - they are cute.
Found some lovely cup cake cups in town the other day and wish id gotten them as they were in brown, pink and white and was thinking i could have made it look like a coffee in there with some socks and done a few cupcakes etc to go in the hamper for my sister and step mum (pamper hampers)
Just thought I'd pop this thread out there http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1867589
for those of us who are giving voucher so money to some family members - they look relatively easy to make and might be a nice way of presenting them.
Am off to try and find some paper I like to cover my nans diary in.Time to find me again0 -
Well the party went well yesterday, got to meet OH's Mum for first time. There was plenty of food and not a lot of tidying up to do after as my grandson was busy all evening throwing cans and bottles in the bins and emptying plates etc bless him (hes only 8). Will have to find some extra pocket money for him for helping out.
Going to have a nice relaxing day in the garden today, might as well make the most of the lovely weather.0 -
Glad everything went to plan rufus, sounds like you had a really good day. Hope you have a nice relaxing day to day after all your hard work getting ready for the party.
