Angela - I did that - yuk............nearly put me off my coffee..............lol
Thanks for the tip about gravy tubs smell.........last year I took the lid off and left them open for months and it worked but was a nuisance having them laying about everywhere. OH is getting me some cinnamon for my coffee mixes so I'll use some of that.
Don't seem to have done so much with them this year..........running out of ideas..................lol:rotfl:
Still got carte d'or ice cream tub I grabbed from OH before he recycled it and not sure what to do with it........nice gold rim to the lid so lends itself to be a 'tub of gold' but everyone had them last year so got to think of something else...........plus need to get some paper to cover it before I even start. Thought my little coffee mix pots would fit in it but they won't.................
Oh well, back to covering notebooks I think..........done the shopping list ones.............nothing fancy, just pretty paper and tied with a ribbon. Now its on to the A4 notebooks...............oh lor.............fabric or paper ? Not sure................
Think I'll hang the washing out and have a think................lolI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

and cheaper than the photo shops (and I suppose if I make a balls of it I can let the kids use the canvas tiles;))
step 1Getting started
You will need: 1. Nice photo 2. Computer 3. Nine pieces of 10x10cm tiles 4. Five sheets of printer paper 5. Five strips of 10x20cm tissue paper 6. Double sided adh…step 2Picking and editing you photo
First you have to pick a nice photo. Make sure you pick a photo in which you will not cut away vital parts (such as eyes) later on. Chose which part of the photo you want …step 3Dividing your picture into smaller elements
In order to print your paper you will have to take a few extra steps. Make a grid on your edited photo with lines at 10 and 20 cm. Cut out the squares between the l…step 4Printing your photo on tissue paper
Obiously it is hard to put tissue paper into an ordinary laser printer. This is a nice trick to make it work. Take your strips of 10 x 20cm tissue paper. Put double sid…step 5Cutting the parts
No need for longer explanation. Cut all nine squares. Try not to cut your fingers as well.step 6Time to use the glue!
Put decoupage glue on tiles. Adhere tissue paper. If you want a softer look, adhere pieces with printed side facing tile. (That is the reason you might want to reverse …step 7Finished!
Now you might want to put tiles into a frame or just stick to a piece of board and put on your wall. Good luck!
