Hope everyone's doing well... I decided to do a cushion for my mum's christmas themed hamper- just red gingham on the back and patchwork with some christmassy fabrics on the front... got it all sewn up today wihlst watching the holiday so just need to get the stuffing.
Have plenty leftovers so might do her a pair, just need more gingham (might get it in a dark green for the other though!
Also been working on my cross stitch for my mums hamper but not doing as much as I should- need a kick up the bum to get into it.

Got the patchwork squares for OH's quilt cut out and going round to a friends tomorrow to start laying them out and planning- mate will be a great help plus with OH unemployed as well he's always in the house hehe

Ooh can I join in please (I do love making Christmas lists!)

    Still need to buy:

DS Lite for eldest son (will be buying this next month with a £10 off voucher I have for Argos)

Noticed your post, I was nosin around on ebay last night and came across the ebay "argos clearance store", and there are a couple DS's on there, I've put the links in below, maybe you could use that (I wish I had for my son's birthday in June his Black DS was £100!). If it is any use you can keep your argos voucher for another gift to score off your list. Kalojac x

Just went back to look at these, and 1 of them is refurbished (think the middle link), however they all seem to have a 12 month guarantee.

For everyone else not looking for a DS there seems to be a few things on the toys and other sections, think I may get a few things scored off my list cheaper this way, although the toys ALL have a set postage of £3.99 so the postage costs is a bit high.

Just a quick add on, I can highly recommend this seller, I have brought from them before. Really competativelly priced, fast delievery and I would say 10/10 seller.

  • re husband's 50th hadn't thought of budget but I guess £50 - he really liked the family photo's in calendar which I got him made up last year so I was thinking something with pictures.

  • Hello one + All!!

I cannot believe I have just found you! I am an organisation fanatic (with everything not just christmas!!) and am always looking for ways to be more organised and stick at it!!

Anywho, I have gone out and brought a folder, dividers, lined hole punched paper, and a septerate notepad, I have put on the dividers these headings:

    Christmas Presents to buy/make
    Christmas presents brought
Christmas presents received 2009 (for thankyou cards)

    Christmas card list
    Christmas card received (2009)

    Christmas Recipies

    Homemade Gifts

Is there anything else I am missing? I would quite like to do the grand holiday plan from organised christmas, but not sure what I need to be printing out etc, and also would I need a seperate folder for this??

I am joining in with some of the challenges too + will be writing out my christmas card list + getting the adresses together tonight, and then I will start buying stamps, I use 2nd class and just post a few days earlier!

I brought loads of stuff in the Boots + ASDA sale after 2008 christmas, so I really need to sit down and see whats for who and who I have left to buy for!!

I already have 1 complete pamper hamper for my aunty which I just need to wrap with cellophane, and am in the process of making up a French + Indian food hamper for my godparents!

Any other ideas tips would be great, I have read up to page 30 something, but gave uup as i wanted to get involved LOL!!

    Happy Planning!!:j
