  • Ah Tigger888 I know how you feel!!! Ppl think i'm bonkers!! My OH just lets me get on with it and just hands me his vouchers!

Haven't been on here for a few days, so much to catch up on!!!

Was in my local Card Factory on Saturday and they had boxes of Xmas cards for 99p. But in my excitment of seeing Christmas stuff I didn't think to look how many were in the box!! Think they must have found them lurking in the back of their stockroom.

Also was in Savers, they had a few bits for kids. High School musical lip glosses, Winnie the Pooh bubblebath etc. Cheap little bits for stocking fillers. Is my niece's birthday in a couple of weeks so I need to sort out all the odds and ends i've been buying, think I may also have her Christmas bits sorted - see what happens without logging my present shopping in my present book - Present overload!!

CONGRATS SUGARSPUN - enjoy your baby as you are all organised for christmas you can just put yout feet up and enjoy the festivities and fun stuff.xxx

I'm starting the organized grand plan today as I want it all done before baby comes in november so Im starting a little early - doing list and question week and as I don't have a front porch that won't take long so I'll be moving straight onto living room for cleaning.

It's my birthday today but it's chucking down rain outside so I'll probably get most of the above done. Going to try and get on with my christmas tags too later tonight.

The only thing I won't do yet is a meal a week for the freezer but when dd starts back full time school I'll have a whole day cooking and catch up on these.

Morning all. Happy Birthdays and Congratulations all round today it seems.

Am off round to my mates this afternoon to plan out my OH's patchwork quilt and finished cross-stitching santas beard last night so will hopefully finish his face today hehe... is going to look great I think (have the same thing for myself but doubt it will be ready in time) here's a linky to it: cross-stitch

Other than that think I have some tidying to do and checking everything is sorted out!
Really need to get some boxes to put things in rather than carrier bags everywhere

  • Sorry only read the very last post. So Congrats Sugarspun! Hope you're both doing well.

Happy birthday QueenB. Hope you have a great day.

Am off today :) So am hoping to try and get my ringbinder etc together. Not sure if i'll have time to read back through all the info/tasks but will give it a go. x

    oops forgot to do this...

How many people to buy for? 26 (including me)

    Estimated Budget? £575ish

    Actual spend? ???

    Presents completed/half done/nowt yet

    12 completed / 5 started / 9 not started yet
(but know what i'm getting for all - just trying to get the funds together)

Original/Proper cost of prezzies? much more than what I've spent, and used lots of vouchers/money off ebay and surveys so fastly becoming neutral

Ladies - want to do a cheese lovers hamper for my dad(he's the only person I'm doing large presents for cos I'm only doing purses and gift cards for everyone else, so thinking cheese (special stuff), cheese board and knife, cheesey biscuits/crackers and maybe stick a pork pie in there too, what else could I add???

As it's my birthday and husband is going to football I'm going to settle down tonight with christmas with the cranks on dvd (my absolute fave and always gets me soooo excited for christmas) with my christmas tags to make.

p.s. my dad gave me money so I'm going to get a christmas cartridge for my cricut - very excited.
