Tucan Claims - Is this real?

it does work i went with tucan claims and they found ppi and something to do with unenforcable loans and i had just over £3,500 back off them so it is worth trying and if it don't work for you just ask for the fee back

I'm sorry. I dont believe you. I suspect you work for them or have some other link and are trying to promote them in some way.

It seems to me that this claims company is a good idea for those of us with busy lives/jobs who want to try to reclaim missold ppi. It worked for me! :j

There are plenty of people on here with "busy lives/jobs" and other obviously less important people than yourself who have managed to claim back using this site. There are also many people important and otherwise who have been shafted by these claims companies. Just read the threads.;)

I am not saying that I am any more important than anyone else!! As a working single parent I need all the help I can get, I am trying to research how to do this myself but it seems so complicated. If you can get your money back at the end where's the harm?

It is not complicated at all and you keep all you claim back for yourself. All you do is look at the template letter on this FORUM and use it for your claim. Recorded delivery is the only cost. Takes 10 minutes. You can ask questions and people will guide you.

I had a call from these people a couple of weeks ago, the woman on the phone would not take no for an answer and then tried to put me through to her colleague to discuss further - at which point I put the phone down.

Today I have received a 'welcome' letter from them with a claim pack and telling me how I can pay £249 !! I did not give them any details over the phone and did not agree to anything so I am absolutely livid that they have sent this out.

I've just had a call from them. My number is ex-directory (or at least it should be) and I'm registered with the TPS. They asked for Mr wife's maiden name. Despite me saying there was no-one here by that name the guy went on until I said 'can I just stop you there? There is no-one here with that name, please remove this number from your database & good-bye'. At which point I hung up before he could say anything else.

In years gone by I would have told them to f word off but parenthood & the wife's nagging have mellowed me a bit. :rotfl:

I find it strange that the 2 people on this thread saying Tucan are good have only recently signed up to Moneysavingexpert. Either they work for Tucan or have only found out when they've been shafted by them.
