cdsmiler I'm sure someone on here mentioned a place online you can order miniatures from? maybe google it. Otherwise most off-licenses will have them behind the counter - Supermarkets tend not to unless in gift sets as they are so easy to steal!

Ah, thanks ragz. I'll have a look online and see if there's anywhere I can find who do it with decent P&P!

    Any unusual thoughts though people?

who was doing the golf hamper?? (i think it was on here). todays bangzo 'free' book is golf tips from the pros --> http://bangzo.com/

It was me! Thank you so much for that it is now on its way! This is the only thing I have bought for the hamper. Does anyone have any ideas as to what golfers would find useful? It is a his and hers hamper and knowing nothing about golf I don't want to waste pennies. I will add a couple of novelty items but not sure what the main bits should be!

    Afternoon ladies.

With my parents, I could put an alcohol miniture in them or something, or anything tacky as they are just in it for the fun!! lol (Btw, minatures are SO hard to find now - anyone have any ideas where the best places are to find them??)

The whiskey shop sells them if you have one near you or failing that there are a lot of places on line that sell them. Confetti the wedding shop also sells minis.

Most independant booze shops always sell miniatures of spirits. places like threshers etc.

Ive just made 2 ''jars of nothing'' for my brother and his girlfriend cos when I asked them what they wanted they said noting.

Message says: ''You asked for nothing. Nothing is what you've got.''

Jars are 3 for £1 from the £ shop. Then i just used some scraps of ribbon to go around the lid, cut out a label and added some wrap, but you could put it in a small box or a gift bag. The card warehoue place do 8 gift bags for £1 which are just the right size for these jars.

    havent seen any myself.

Im just using old cardboard boxes wrapped in christmas paper, as i would drive myself mental trying to work out what size basket i needed then there's the added cost.

Princesswoo I am with you on that one! I always just wrap boxes, this year I have been lucky to get packing boxes with removable lids that I have also wrapped so I don't need any cellophane either!

I have bought a few pairs of shoes / boots in the sales and they have come in nice boxes with removable lids, so there getting wrapped in paper.

Good thing about ordering things online is that they usually come in a nice sized packing box that i can re-use for my hampers.

The only things i have left to buy are:
a bottle of blue sapphire Gin
bulbs for the garden (fruit / veg)
DD big pressie but im playing the waiting game.

Just wondering what i do with all my boots points, i'm NOT sales shopping at boots this year, still have 80% of the stuff in my cupboards that i bought in january and thats after giving a load of stuff away.

But i have managed to make sure that i haven't bought ANY toiletry related gifts this year for anyone.

think i'll use the points to buy DD2's new cot.
