People of any age can have difficulty with using computers. The perception is that older people are more likely to be unable to use them. Older people are more entitled not to be able to use computers due to the salient fact that they were not used in schools and education when they were young and in full time education.

I find the stereotyping of older people nauseating. A similar regime exists in the workplace whereby older people are generally disregarded in favour of younger whizkids who think that they know it all. Many of them, though able to use a computer well, cannot write or spell properly.

Are they getting inundated with applications? Their website has been down for a couple of hours - it says it is planned maintenance but you don't do planned maintenance on your website just after launching a new web-based account!
