Tried explaining that already (post 22), but he's still insisting on using a thread about an instant access account to compare with an apple, sorry pear, no blanket..

If you read the OP both bond and instant are mentioned.

All I`m stating is the best short term rate, whereas the coventry bond (as mentioned by the OP)is for a year minimum.

  • You may only ever open one 50 Plus eSave account, either solely or jointly. However many issues of the 50 Plus eSave account there may be, you cannot open more than one. You may not open a 50 Plus eSave account if you have opened a Sixty-Plus eSave account.
  • my last reply is a cut and paste from the conditions so if you only have a 50 plus esaver your ok to apply

I think you'll find in the Ts and Cs that is not the case. Once you have had a 50 plus esaver then that is it, you cannot ever have another one. As other posters have stated you are still not eligible even if the previous esaver has been closed. Also see post number 18 in this thread.
  • ive put in an application have been told they have accepted it so they dont seem to be sticking to that!!!!!

Just spoke to Coventry and if you ignor the fact that you are only allowed one esaver ever and go ahead online and apply, when the paperwork is returned and checked,it will be rejected.

Correct, as myself and others have pointed out.
standinman2009 seems to think that misreading or ignoring T & C's will bypass the rules.
