My transfer from an issue 3 to an Issue 6 has also been one. Well one CBS for listening to your customers.

sent my app. + £1 cheque (still have the 6.25% account), on mon - showing on screen now. Already have 6.25% account - no problems/queries from them, with this new one

First time I set one up I do a small test transfer to check that I haven't screwed up anything.
You will need the sort code & account number of the CBS account obviously.

Once set up, the details are remembered and you can give the transfer details your own description.

When the card reader system is activated on your accounts, you will need the reader to set this up and I am not sure about Faster Payments kicking in yet.

I've just set the payment up and transferred a whole pound. Will be checking later on today to see how long it takes to get there.

It took about three hours. So that's it. Goodbye IF and AA DD's, it's all going into CBS now ( and better interest rates too:j:j:j!)

If you read through the posts, you will see that this new account from CBS was NCO, until people power took over, and they relented.
