SeptemberRe the hotel booking via lastminute.com I don't think the 50% off at MGM was available as far ahead as May so I think you may have paid LM's full price. It certainly wasn't available when I checked my dates.
All is not lost as you can cancel the booking for a £20 admin fee if you decide to.In the event that the hotel booking needs to be cancelled, for whatever reason, you are liable to pay an administration fee of £20. This will be in addition to any cancellation charge our hotels may impose.
A refund for the booking cost will be given which will include deductions for the administration fee and the charge the hotel may impose. If these fees are greater than the booking cost, the cancellation will be at the full cost of the booking and no refund will be given.
What I would do is keep the booking in the meantime, but start looking for offers and promo codes in January on https://www.smartervegas.com and https://www.fatwallet.com
As your dates include 2 weekend nights then it may not be a bad price. Remember when you are comparing hotel rates that all hotels rates quoted are subject to 12% tax.0 -
SeptemberHow odd - everything I have read said it was the full show in Vegas - 2:30 or so...if it's only 90 minutes, it must have been cut down dramatically from the original production. I'm pretty sure the folks here who have commented (other than me) saw the show in Vegas. Show reviews are very relative - I liked it, you liked it, others not so much. Just the way it is.
That's what I thought, that it ran 2h 20-30m.
I was a bit disappointed that I didn't like it, or at least fell asleep (as I often do), as I had read so many good things about it.
However we can be quite critical and if we don't like a show then we leave early.
I must admit that I have read mainly good reports on it, but I have also read of people having the same view as me.0 -
October , NovemberThe show is full length in vegas(went last week), with interval but you might aswell leave after the first 15mins as its boring as after that.
Americas got talent show was only 90mins but could have watched another hour or 2....0 -

Anyhoo...my first question is....have I been too hasty? I saw *what I thought was a baragin* deal on lastminute.com via a link on Trip Advisor for MGM Grand half price. I booked a Celebrity Spa Suite for £620 for 9 nights....I am now worried that I went in without thinking, caught in the moment. Is this a good deal? Has anyone stayed in the Celebrity Spa Suite & is it worth it?
Any help/advice appreciated and thanks in advance!
My first post here, thanks to everyone for all their 150 pages of comments. I'm off to Vegas 24 Dec to 31 Dec.
4 nights MGM & 3 nights Luxor.
Got the same deal as above on lastminute = £200 for 3 nights & added a 4th night for $112 (plus loads of resort coupons?)
So, despite what the 1st respondant said - CLOUDY NINES, YOU are really £69 a night - which is pretty good in my opinion.0 -

I went this week and without the 15 mins interval, the show felt like 90 minutes. You know what they say though - time flies when your having fun.
Everyone and I mean every single person in the audience gave a standing ovation at the end of the show.0 -

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

October , NovemberYeah but Americans give a standing ovation for anything. We went to see Terry Fator and he asked if there were any military people in the audience. They stood up and everyone got up and gave them a standing ovation.
oh, man...don't mess with that part of the show...I loved that...there were a couple of older (maybe not quite elderly, but quite old) guys who stood up near us, and they looked really touched by the standing ovation. It was sweet.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Yes there is IFE on Delta. According to Seat Guru there are seatback TV's on the LHR-ATL route with AVOD and overhead screens on the ATL-LAS.

You will need your own headphones with a double pronged plug on the domestic route.
