December ( including Xmas and New Year )Virgin Sale
from £460 ....23rd Nov -13th Dec and 10th Jan-24th March 20100 -
MarchHas anyone been on the direct BA flights yet?
Would always choose Virgin over Ba due to past experiences but i like the idea of taking newbee's and landing in Vegas at night.
Yep, we choose BA for our trip in March (We went Virgin last year, and we've also been with AA and United indirect previously too...)
We don't drink much, so losing the Virgin drinks service doesn't bother us.Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
October , Novemberthe BA sale prices are for the following periods
£469 24 Nov 09 - 16 Dec 09
£469 12 Jan 10 - 17 Mar 10
Its a real premium to fly to vegas when £384 is the advertised price for LA and San Francisco. I guess they have more first class flyers to california to subsidise fares.0 -
December ( including Xmas and New Year )So fly to SFO, stay a couple of days, visit Alcatraz and the vineyards, fly to Vegas for 60 bucks or so, pick up car for the week and drive to LAX for flight home.

SeptemberI got really excited when I saw this thinking I would grab a decent price flight to Vegas in Aug/Sep time 2010. Prices havn't changed at all since I last checked earlier in the week.
Even checking prices in March for when my parents want to go, The prices have increased over the last time I checked them on Monday.0 -

We saw it last week, it was much better than I was expecting. I didn't realise it was the story behind Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons but it was really very good.
Personally I wouldn't rave madly about it, but I would say go and see it. There was laughter, tears and a lot of singing along from me. Conversely my hubby hated it but he doesn't like musicals anyway.
BTW I only went because people on this board and others raved about it, otherwise it wouldn't have been on my radar.:DDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
