For anyone really on a budget I would recommend the Imperial Palace deluxe rooms, not the Capri rooms. They are basic no frills, but clean and comfortable enough.

The location cannot be beaten being centre strip and with a monorail station to get you to north or south strip.

For not much more you can get a much better hotel such as the MGM if you look out for promos and offers. The IP may be $35/night weekdays and the MGM $50 so less than a tenner a night difference, but the difference in quality is vast.

    March
All this hotel talk's making me very excited. We're heading out again at the end of March, and I'm patiently waiting for some offers to come around so I can get something booked :)
Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!

Not strictly Vegas but anyone wanting to see Donny & Marie might want to watch this as its supposedly based on their Vegas Show...

An Audience with Donny and Marie
The Osmond siblings entertain a celebrity crowd in a programme based on their Las Vegas stage show, singing old favourites and new songs, including 1972 hit Crazy Horses, and Vegas Love, from their forthcoming album. Donny and Marie also present a Broadway medley and take questions from the audience SUB
    General Show/Game Show
Wednesday 11th November at 8:00pm on ITV 1

I was at the recording for this -several numbers from the Vegas show are included and one that is planned to be added to the Vegas show later this year

I agree the IP is a fantastic location and the rooms are clean but I personally didn't find our room at all comfortable. Fine if you're just planning to sleep there and don't need a particually comfortable bed though
    I'd pay the extra tenner

Has anyone been on the direct BA flights yet?
Would always choose Virgin over Ba due to past experiences but i like the idea of taking newbee's and landing in Vegas at night.

I got really excited when I saw this thinking I would grab a decent price flight to Vegas in Aug/Sep time 2010. Prices havn't changed at all since I last checked earlier in the week.

Even checking prices in March for when my parents want to go, The prices have increased over the last time I checked them on Monday.
