Thanks, where is Wallmart in relation to the strip?
I'm staying in the MGM Grand.
Am I more likely to be ripped off buying on the strip?

This should show MGM on the left and the Walmart on E Tropicana on the right. Looks a similar distance from MGM as the Encore is.

Yep that lol. And keep everything crossed too, fingers, legs etc :rotfl:
Personally I like video poker better, you have more control over the machine (not much, but I always seem to do better on those than normal slots)
    Good Luck.

But if you keep your eyes shut you might miss the cocktail waitress.

I think the one on Tropicana is a regular WalMart though - not a SuperCentre...so may be worth going to the one on Charleston instead...will have a much bigger selection and probably be a much nicer store.

There is no stratgey to winning. However you do have to select how many lines to play and how much to bet per line.

To maximise your chances it is best to choose the maximum amount of lines. This is the top row of buttons and you can choose from 1 line to whatever the maximum is. On some machines it's only 9 lines, on others it can be as much as 250 lines.

Then you choose how much to bet per line, from 1c to say 10c. If you choose 40 lines and a 1c bet per line, each spin will cost you 40c.

Good advice...I'd add to closely watch the denomination of the machine and which buttons are where...had an incident 2 days ago where I sat down to play a Stinkin' Rich machine which I've played many times before. It's 100 lines and I have never seen it in anything other than pennies...so I put my $20 in...chose 100 lines, 1 credit per line to bet $1 as normal and was baffled when after 4 spins I had no money left...then I saw the 'change denomination' button and cringed. Last person had set it to nickels...so that was 4 spins of $5 each.

Worst part was it was the same day I sat down at a $0.25 machine to play 5 credits per line for $1.25...this worked the first spin, but the 2nd I hit what I thought was the spin button which would spin again at my first bet...but no, on this machine, the spin button and max bet button are switched from their normal positions...50 quarters = $12.50. And I didn't win anything. :(

This was a June picture from the site,

If you are over there at present or about to go, can you update everyone as to the traffic etc, as this may get worst before it gets better.

It is going to be an amazing site, when finished, city within a city, with its own firestation etc,you would never want to leave

Th Walmart we usually go to is on Spring Mountain Road and Rainbow. We get the 203 bus at the side of the Fashion Show Mall if we don't have a car. It runs every half an hour.

Just returned home and its pretty much the same now as it was then. However the bridge over is now in place and the road opposite is closed. A few of the shops have signs up as well. There is a tiffany's and a Louis Vuiton.

The traffic's not too bad; although it does go down by a lane or two in the evenings. The building at the bottom has its reflective windows all in place. They'd shut the opposite sidewalk next to the Harley Davidson cafe when I was there which meant pulling the pedestrians out into the road, narrowing the opposite side of the road down too. That was pushed back and the pavement reopened by the middle of last week.

I can't find any pictures which show it better than the June one, I'm sorry to say. We went to the top of the Eiffel Tower at night so none of our shots show it very well.
