Have taken the plunge :j and booked our flights as am now sure we will find pleanty to amuse ourselves for two weeks. Here is what I am thinking:

Day 1 (7th oct) - Arrive vegas and stay for one night to recover from flight
Day 2 (8th oct) - head to death valley then onto tonopah to stay the night.
Day 3 (9th oct) - head to yosemite stay the night.
Day 4 (10th oct) - drive to LA stay the night.
Day 5 (11th oct) -la stay the night
day 6 (12th oct)- drive back to vegas, stay the night.
day 7 (13th oct) drive to flagstaff or williams (stay the night)
day 8 (14th oct) - drive to grand canyon (stay night)
day 9 (15th oct)- Explore grand canyon (stay night)
day 10 (16th oct) - drive back to vegas stay night
days 11 onwards (17th oct)to (21st oct) stay on strip in vegas

Would love a bit of feedback if you would be so kind, does this look reasonable?

    many thanks in advance :)

Maybe see you around but most unlikely.

My wife and I are in LA 12-15th Oct then Vegas 15th-22nd.

This is what I was desperately trying to post last night when the forums were down. MON AMI GABI DINING CERTIFICATE

    It's a $50 dinining certificate for $25 + $3.75 shipping and handling. It's only good for breakfast between 7-11am.

One major problem is that they don't ship to the UK. However if you have friends or family in the US or Canada you can have it shipped there and have them send it to you.

Thanks for that - that's a great deal - excellent find.

I've thought MAG for breakfast might be a nice thing to do...unfortunately looking at the menu, doesn't look like 2 of us would get to the $50 spend.

I am however very intrigued by the mention of the build-your-own Bloody Mary bar on Saturday and Sundays! :)

That's what I thought to start with, but by the time you add coffees, OJ for hubby and (hopefully) chocolate milk for me it will be fairly near it. Hubby will probably have steak and eggs just to make sure. ;)

Oh, hey...I hadn't seen the steak and eggs...that's what my hubby pretty much always orders for breakfast...looking at it again I think you're right - I think we WOULD make it with juice and coffees.

And you are in the handy position of having family with a US address to send it to. I've ordered my one to be delivered to a family friend in Canada.

I am, though my sister had her 2nd baby yesterday so just want to first confirm that it's OK to send stuff to her at the moment - I imagine a newborn and a 2 year-old at home makes even the most simple tasks a lot more trying. ;)
