  • April
Does anyone know if and when Barry Manilow is on next year, I can only find dates till the end of this year. I want to go in April but would be gutted if I book my flights and I'm there on the dates hes having a rest.

Last I read his contract was up at the end of this year, so would be a matter of the contract being renewed.

He seems to say in this article from May that he'd love to stay on.

The Excalibur is a proper sh!theap too! Rooms are stuffy and the bathrooms are well out of date. also had to wait AGES for an elavator we could fit in - the pool area is ok tho but the casino and the bars and the public restrooms made me nacious!

On a plus side though, Dicks is a lot of fun!

Interesting...last time we stayed there the rooms were decent enough...and we like the casino - have never found it dirty in the common areas.

But more importantly, how was the midget stripper? :)

Hello! I would just like to thank everyone in the two Vegas threads for all the hints and tips - I've just spent the past week or so reading all the posts and I now feel I know so much more. At least now I've finished, I can get my lunch breaks back!!

I'm not a Vegas newbie - have been 3 times in the past 4 years - and my future husband and I have now decided to visit a 4th time for our honeymoon in September. As many of you have said, Vegas feels like home, so I am ridiculously excited to be going back (two months to go!)

And on to the questions - firstly, what is everyone's experience of Labor Day weekend? We're going to be landing on the Sunday evening and staying at Mandalay Bay for 5 nights. Is it going to be crazy busy for the Sunday/Monday? Do people tend to take the rest of the week off work (making that whole week busy?)

Secondly, does anyone have any opinions on the cabanas at the MB pool? We're considering renting one but didn't know if it was worth it. I can get the online reservation thing to work on the MB website but don't know if that's because there's still two months to go - it's just telling me that there are none available for that week. Do they sell out so soon?

    Thanks again!!

Can anyone advise if flying with BA or Virgin would be better?

No idea yet, but the competition for Virgin will do no harm at all to the chances of a better plane!!!
