but i did go on X Scream @ The Stratosphere , very scary .

I really want to go on X Scream - I would never, ever in a million years ride Insanity, but X Scream I would. My FIL promised to go on it with me sight unseen - but when we got there, he backed out faster than you can even imagine. I swear I'm going to go on it on my own one day. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I remember couple of years or so someone from Bristol committed suicide from Insanity. They managed to undo the restraint and just jumped!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Was just about to book my holiday for LV when I checked the terms and conditions on expedia.co.uk
1. Before you book and pay for your Expedia Holiday

1.1 Your use of Expedia Holiday

The following terms and conditions are our commitments to you as you book a holiday with us. Taken with all other information on this web site, Expedia.co.uk, the terms and conditions form a contract between you and Expedia. The information on Expedia.co.uk is directed solely at those who access Expedia.co.uk from the United Kingdom and it is a condition of booking with Expedia that you are domiciled in the UK. English Law governs the holiday services we offer. The laws of any other country do not apply to the information shown on Expedia.co.uk, the services offered by or on behalf of Expedia or any information relating to our holiday services. Access to Expedia.co.uk is conditional on your agreement that English Law will govern your contract and any disputes will be dealt with in the English courts.

I live in Ireland. WOuld you just go ahead and ignore this? I would just be afraid that they would cancel my booking at short notice leaving me stranded

A few weeks ago i booked the following offer at MGM

Exclusive Offer!
* Daily access to the Grand Buffet for 2 people
* 2 Complimentary admissions to Studio 54 or Tabu
* 25% off Grand Spa or Christophe Salon
* 2 Free inner tube rentals
* $15 Free Slot Play
* $30 upgrade per night to Celebrity Spa Suite
Promotion Runs
July 2, 2009 - February 28, 2010

With my trip less than 2 weeks away, i decided to log onto MGM and view my reservation.. the reservation does not show any PROMO code.. or any of the above offer items. Just my personal details, dates and price ,,, has anyone stayed at the MGM is this normal.. or should my reservation show the offer details? I'am worried when i arrive at check-in they will not have any record of the offer .... I planned to email but they only seem to have Phone contact.

Hope someone knows the answer!

I don't think your reservation will detail the goodies you get for the promo. If it makes you feel better you could try calling using one of the companies listed in the International Call Checker here (£0.005/minute)

http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/usa

Or you could try this email: mgmres@lv.mgmgrand.com

But calling will be quicker and easier I think.

Don't be saying that  I don't wish to know that these restraints are undoable!

I honestly get cold feet at the prospect of venturing on any of those Stratosphere rides but then i'll regret it if I don't!

I think i'll definitely do NYNY, Sahara, and the rest well, we shall have to see.

Also, some dutch courage, will encorage
