merlinormartin - I've booked and stayed at MGM in the past and none of the additions show in the reservation pages, but they had all the info at check in. Didn't even need to ask, it was no prob at all....

Has anyone used the V Room at Gatwick? Its £17pp which includes soft drinks, food (hot sandwiches & pastries etc) internet access & papers... do you think its worth it? Last time we went from Gatwick we ate at F&Benny's which like most airport restaurants/food courts was overpriced but if I remember right it wasnt to bad. But am just wondering if this will be a nicer start to the holiday?!?!?

Only 4 weeks and a few days am sooooooooo excited! :)

Just found a group on Facebook to save the Tropicana - it has only 100 members :rotfl:
I've been in there once, hated it and won't be back in or joining the group to save it! lol (think we were in for the cheapie magic show with the tigers.... which wasn't too bad for killing an hour or so.)

I have to agree...it was never one of our favorite places and we skipped it most trips, but with the in-laws last October we made a stop there. I really, really don't like it...it just seems old and a bit run down to me...and no matter how clean it may be, old+run down= dirty in my head.

Personally I'd love to see something new put it in its place. Maybe we should start an implode the Trop group? :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    The Monticeto :D
Oh wait, it's already up by the Wynn, or is near the Luxor, Doh!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Pretty sure it overlooked Harrahs at one point too. :)

Just started watching them all again to get me even more excited for our trip and it makes me laugh so much how many times it changes where it is!
