We then took the same route out and headed for a ghost town. I can't tell you roads or place names as I haven't got anything to remind me. The ghost town was advertised in a tourist guide or something that we had and we both fancied a look. It is not preservered or anything, some of it is fenced off but that didn't stop one guy who was clambering over everything to get a look. It is not manned so there was no one there to stop him.

it may have been this one...

were there weird sculptures / statues on the left as you drove in? if so it probably was! :)

we went there a couple of years ago and there was a form of 'part-time' guide / enthusiast... he took a picture of us stood outside the house made out of glass bottles...

the missus makes me watch all those scary hitchiker type films / hills have eyes etc etc - it has to be said, that this man (who had very few teeth) gave me the heeby jeebies and reminded me of every bad film i'd ever seen -- we hurried round the place as quickly as possible! :D;)

    really fancy bodies myself

Bodies is also at Tix4Tonight for 1/2 price. :)

I saw Bodies in Chicago - it's very, very cool...one or two of them made me nervous but mostly it's a pretty fascinating thing to see.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Flamingo?? You must be confusing me with someone else. We would never ever dream of staying somewhere as downmarket as the Flamingo so have no idea what their rooms are like and hopefully never will!

Hey guys, on the whole, there are some very good and constructive comments on here, so what would you say about the Thrill Rides in LV. I used to really love them but now in my mid 30's i'm starting to get cold feet at the prospect of a 224ft drop

Then again, you only live once so which rides do you all suggest?

    Cheers
